Good it may clear the air one way or another, however I still think HMRC should investigate the financial transaction of her House, and the Electoral Commission re the other allegation |

If the police are investigating her it will not be in relation to Capital Gains Tax, that would be the job of HMRC, who would take action against her for tax irregularities, should any be found.
If the police are investigating her it would be for something else.
Interesting point - could she declare one property as her main residence for tax purposes (while living somewhere else) while declaring another property as her residence for electoral reasons? I tend to think that she could, but would be happy if someone could clarify this.

The police didn't even bother the first time around, so a Tory MP complained and now they have assigned somebody to investigate. I mean just how stupid are GMP to think nobody would ask the neighbours if the police had interviewed them? I'm sure it has nothing to do with Manchester having a Labour mayor. Tbh that is probably the least of her worries. They have also wrote to HMRC over tax avoidance, because either she or her husband owes capital gains because a married couple cannot claim relief on two homes. There are also questions over whether she broke the rules of the right to buy discount, and the terms of her mortgage. God only knows where this could end if she was claiming benefits too. If the Police conclude she has not done wrong I am sure the usual suspects on the retarded right will go all EUSSR and demand the police look again, and again, and again until they do find something wrong.
Funny how they used to complain when the EU did it, but when they do it they find it acceptable.
I'd call them hypocrites, but most are too think to know what the word means.
