Talk about kicking and screaming, he knows he did the wrong thing, he knows Starmer has stitched him up, like he does with everyone.
If he's got a spark of decency left in him he should resign, and send a clear message he made a 'big mistake' and hope his successor is not as gullible.

The problem for Hoyle is that he needs to have the confidence of the House and we are now in a situation where he has comprehensively pissed off the 3rd largest party by stitching them up to benefit Labour.
I'm not sure he can last - perhaps he should bow out gracefully and announce he will retire at the next election.

I suspect Starmer may be quietly flapping, I mean if Hoyle does resign, will his resignation speech reveal that Starmer did indeed threaten him with his job as speaker?

We hope so, Starmer's luck has to run out soon, that's why he wanted a early election, he knows he's on borrowed time, hopefully Hoyle will throw him under a bus, then Sue Gray will be brought in, and she'll throw Starmer under the same bus, and if any police in Durham investigating beergate will whistleblow and also chuck Starmer under the bus ...he must be crapping his pants every day, the GE can't come soon enough for him.

The threat I speak of Charlie is the 'alleged' threat that Starmer, or individual/s on Starmers behalf, told the speaker that if he did not allow the Labour amendment a future Labour government would replace him as speaker. Starmer has denied 'he' said this. But he has not denied that someone on his behalf said it. I think a resignation letter from the speaker might clear things up.

No such thing could of Been said because it can't be done. Each Deputy Speaker is elected to serve until the end of the Parliament. The House holds no record of a rule relating to removal of the Deputy Speakers during mid-term. However, if the Chairman of Ways and Means resigns the Chair during the sitting of Parliament, they either personally announce their retirement to the House, or address a letter to the Speaker making the announcement. This information can be found in Erskine May on our parliamentary pages. It may also be of interest to you to know the rules around election of the Deputy Speakers which can be found in Erskine May also on our parliamentary pages. The speaker is there until the end off parliament. Then the house votes who the speaker is its not down to the Government. Even the leader of the house said he's A nice and caring person. The disruption was Cased by Cry baby SNP. Who you know have no respect for westminter or the English people. The Scum they are .

They hang onto the English purse Stings. the only thing poisoning the HoC is the Labour Party by influencing the Speaker to help them out. Not them who have no respect for westminster? Whoever in Government Even them that represents the IRA Seinfl-fien keep away because they keep to there principles So it's Moved away from pressure NrbHoyle to influence now has it. Let's have it right then no law was broken except tradition. Mr Hoyle offerd SNP a olive Branch but they Refused it saying they no confidence 8n him. So like I said in that case we can expect them not be taking up there seats. While Mr Hoyle remain has speaker Let them keep to there convictions. What is Pacifico my friend the enemy of my Enemy with you has well. Has a Brexiter I found it strange you support SNP Has a so called patriot I find it strange you want to support someone who Wants to Break up of the union. I find it strange for a person for you to Support a Socialists movement. The only thing that unite you is the common hatred of new labour. No wonder i caLl them pousion when they present a debate in parliament that will cause wide spread spilt in my political party you know how much longer dislike Corbyn. Plus putting my representIves in parliament lives in danger If you disagree with that tell me why.
