Stock market crash are you trying claim there was no stock market crash after brexit vote that also crashed international stock markets? I must have slept through this one - what year did this crash happen? When the London Stock Exchange opened on Friday 24 June 2016, the FTSE 100 fell from 6338.10 to 5806.13 in the first ten minutes of trading. It recovered to 6091.27 after a further 90 minutes before further recovering to 6162.97 by the end of the day's trading. This equated to a fall of 3% by the close of trading.[66] When the markets reopened the following Monday, the FTSE 100 showed a steady decline, losing over 2% by mid-afternoon.[67] Upon opening later on the Friday after the referendum, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped nearly 450 points or about 2.5% in less than half an hour. The Associated Press called the sudden worldwide stock market decline a stock market crash.[68] Internationally, more than US$2 trillion of wealth in equities markets was wiped out in the highest one-day sell-off in recorded history, in absolute terms.[69][70] The stock market losses amounted to a total of 3 trillion US dollars by 27 June;[71] up to the same date, the FTSE 100 index had lost £85 billion.[72] Near the close of trading on 27 June, the domestically-focused FTSE 250 Index was down approximately 14% compared to the day before the referendum results were published.[73] Only intervention by the BOE stopped it going worse. The BOE pulled your bums out of deep poo .poo
