There is no flip flop or 'U' turns until the Manifesto is produced. Only then will the open minded be able to ascertain just what direction Labour intend to take the country in if elected. It is obvious to intelligent individuals that no cast iron guaranteed promises can be made by any political party, the only guaranteed promises that can be made are the promises a Party can make about the direction it will take take when in office. To do anything other than that would require an ability to see into the future.

In Labour’s latest U-turn, Starmer announced on Thursday he was abandoning his promise to spend £28 billion on green infrastructure.
Sharing a video of the Labour leader defending the policy when it was still on the table, Mish Rahman, a member of the party’s national executive committee, said: “I don't believe a word he says.”
Ditching the policy has seen Labour come under fire from all sides – with the SNP branding it a “complete betrayal”.
Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove took to Twitter to react to the announcement, saying: “Brave Sir Keir runs away again. The inveterate invertebrate shows he has no plan and there is no principle he won’t ditch. He’s the jellyfish of politics – transparent, spineless and swept along by the tide.”

Politico reported there was disquiet in the Labour Party, too, quoting one party aide as saying the U-turn made Starmer look like an “empty vessel”.
The aide also expressed concern about shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves’s influence, adding: “If we can’t get anything ambitious through now, what hope do we have in government? Treasury says no to everything. She’s going to rule with an iron fist.”

So here is the reality. --"Labour will cut its green spending plans in half after concluding that “something had to give” to meet its promise of balancing the public finances, Sir Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves have confirmed. The party formally ditched its policy of spending £28bn a year on green infrastructure – sparking fury from environmental groups and some MPs. So not from the Labour party. Big deal made out of such a sensible move by Starmer. High spending on green issues will appear with an improved economy. |

The point is even starmers own activists are mocking his daily u turns .So the question is , if starmers own labour party activists imply he can't be trusted , why should anyone vote for him? Who could possibly believe a single thing he writes in labours manifesto? The manifesto commitments wouldn't last the first week of a labour government. |
