A while ago I tried to explain to youngest son about the days of embossed letters on Smartie lids and the various playground theories as to why they were there.
He obviously thought I was losing it. He was probably right.

If I'm honest most of the rural crime where I live is carried out by the traveller community. Dog thefts are particularly popular at the moment and a raid a mile from my home recovered 44 lost and loved pets. They do not nick expensive farming satnav. You have to have a means of selling it. This is organised crime. what makes you think pikeys aren't that organised?

You’re probably correct. But it’s the consistently same mistakes in spelling and syntax, that lead me to question the authenticity of the poster… What do you mean by the authenticity pat it is hardly a mystery Pat, it is the same person with the same username who posted on the old Forum! Most of knew about his dyslexia for years

He was probably right. My sister claims to still have every Smarties lid from every tube she's ever bought. She is 60 next year so could talk you through every design change since the late '60s. Sisters are weird.

My guess is that ttl is dyslexic and it's a recognised disorder not worthy of ridicule. Also, why is dyslexia so hard to spell? That's just mean.
Did you ever hear of the dyslexic atheist?
He didn't believe in dogs.

He didn't believe in dogs. No but I did hear the story of the dyslexic skiers though. One points to the slalom run and says, "Fancy zig zagging down the slalom run?" The other replies,"Zig zag? Don't you mean zag zig?" After ten minutes arguing whether slalom involved zig zagging or zag zigging, they both decide to ask someone at the bottom of the slope. They put their goggles on and down the slope they go. They reach the bottom and see a man about to make his way up the hill. "Excuse me, could you settle an argument for us? When you go down a slalom run do you zig zag or zag zig?" The guy paused for a moment and said, "I'm sorry, I can't help you. I'm a tobogganist." So the pair replied, "Fine, give us two packs of Marlboro then."

But I don't mind people pointing out if I repeat misspellings. I also have ADHD, but I've stopped seeing it as something to be pitied. This video sums it up for me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrkhSICIjSs
