Nah, Veronica had a grasp of spelling and grammar and would have referenced lesbianism at least once by now. You’re probably correct. But it’s the consistently same mistakes in spelling and syntax, that lead me to question the authenticity of the poster…

To be honest. I always assumed totheleft2 hailed from another country or wasn't born here. I don't see why that should be used against him. He's as entitled to an opinion as much as anyone. Quite nice to get an outside perspective.

You're from the planet Virtue. We've been picking up your signals for some time.

Thanks for your reply rr I watched a special report on rural crime on BBC NEWS and they was saying that its gone beyond poaching and rustling . They said organized crime gangs was behind the crime and they was taking high tech equipment like sat nav equipment from tractors etc. Has for allowing farmers to shoot trespassers for me its a no no we can't allow people to take the law into there hands. I followed news articles about this a few years ago and Rumanian criminal gangs were nicking farm equipment and getting it out of the UK. The farmers had responders fitted and the police said they could not do anything. Would be surprised if this is still Rumanians though maybe traveller types now.

Are rural communities safe any more?
Pretty much, so far as I'm concerned. When I got back recently from 5 weeks+ away I found I'd left the back door unlocked..
(Constable Eldest Son reports a different story for South Yorkshire farmers. This year, it seems quad bikes have been the target of choice for light-fingered scumbags..)

My guess is that ttl is dyslexic and it's a recognised disorder not worthy of ridicule. Also, why is dyslexia so hard to spell? That's just mean.

Same here in God's own county of Suffolk. I leave the keys in the ignition of my car on the farm just in case it needs moving out of the way of a tractor. I've never locked my home nor does Farmer Paul. The only things that are kept under lock and key are the guns. The only problem with intruders we've ever had was a black illegal immigrant though when an American mink turned up a couple of years ago and started stealing the rats. I do have a vicious guard cat though so maybe that explains the lack of crime. If anyone is tempted to turn up and steal my extensive collection of Smarties tube lids they will have Raedwald to reckon with.
