England has never beaten USA in a competitive game of football. We lost to them 1-0 in the 1950 WC and drew with them 1-1 in the 2010 championship. Our only other competitive match in the short lived US Cup, in '94 I think, was a 2-0 loss. We have beaten them in all 8 of the friendlies we've played though. |

The 1950-match was the one when reporters saw the score 0-1 they thought it was a typo. Surely it was 10-1.
