The Government are to start a New law where they can investigate all bank accounts of them claiming state pension.
While I think there should be prevention against them Flauding the DWP.
I don't think the Government should have access to Bank account of everyone Claiming state pension.
They should just have access to them they have reason they think are fauding the DWP.

I know but it could be some pensioners are working while claiming pension and not letting the DWP know .or possibly claiming for a partner that died or even claiming pension there not intited to while living abroad. So there several ways the State pension could be Faued . But it does very much ask the question what there up to seeking to have access to every Claimant of State Pension.

Pensioners are allowed to work while claiming pension and to live abroad while claiming pension. Yes I know they are allowed to Clame state pension but I'm sure they have to inform the DWP . And not sure if there a cap on what they can earn or how Many hours they can work. I know many years ago when I was Claiming Unemployment benefits I was working and was only allowed to earn £15 and work upto 8hrs a week . Not sure if the same rules apply today and if Pensioners have the same rules.

To be honest I don’t really understand why someone living Australia gets a different UK pension than someone living in Austria or why someone living in Australia gets a UK pension at all but eventually a different amount than someone living in UK. Not sure there is a lot of logic there tbh.

Not sure there is a lot of logic there tbh. It's called disparity. I and a very many others cannot see why our own homeless have to make do with foodbanks and a shop doorway whilst univited criminals are put in hotels.

I very much doubt there is, as most of them are on the breadline or below, so I guess one or two do make ends meet in some other way. But it makes good headlines and another whole level of bureaucracy which will just eat more in money and resources than it could ever return. But then they do like keeping pensioners living in fear.

Let me add I don't for one minute think that the cost should Matter But just making a compareson
