The latest polls show that 54% think we are worse of leaving the EU. Only 23% think we did the right thing . When labour win the GE think sir Keir should build stronger links with the EU. Again

I reckon the British people might well fancy punishing the establishment for working against them.

Before the referendum this documentary was broadcast. If any remoaners didn't watch it then, sorry, not my fault.
But I did watch it. And I'm glad I voted leave.

I wouldn't expect much else.

His documentary was objective. Everyone was entitled to make their own mind up. He reasoned we were already in and unpicking everything would be complicated. He did not vote remain because he liked the EU, he voted remain in the fragile hope of it being reformed.
Me, I'm a Maastricht rebel. I had no faith in the idea of reform ever happening.
Besides, being independent has its advantages.

The MSN will soon concentrate on Reform and start nit picking, misquoting and digging up the dirt fairly soon.

"Xxxx was the reason the UK left the EU". Fill in the blank with whatever you need to justify some partial and restricted old song.
The fact is that rhe loudest voices supporting Brexut havz eirher sloped off, quit, nearly broke the UK economy or found to be self serving liars. Leopards do not change spots. They twisted, lied and unvaded personal social comms to create a huge majority which has done NOTHING to improve the standard of living if those who voted for them. Rich friends excluded. And please dont hide behind Xovid and Ukraine. Those affected all EU countries and today the rate of growth is lowest relative to GDP across Europe. Why? Because no one wants to invest in a clearly unstable country that has no fundamental long term direction and when facing global issues, is ready to leave some of the most respected framework of western democratic and liberal principles which millions died for 100 years ago and by which all other allies form their law and economies. They are what protect us from communism, fascism and rogue states. Which business or country will spend in the "sovereign" UK when that "sovereignty" has shown nothing but comedic and unstable government which cant even complete its own internal investments?
The ROW doesnt care about how many illegal boats arrive in the UK...the same happens all over the EU. It doesnt care about whether young people can afford a house or if NI payments are lowered by some tiny percentage, nor do they care whether your NHS collapses. They care about stability and long term reliability if they are going to spend tens of millions of whatevers in the UK. And if they dont, the sovereign UK will always struggle to make comparative economic progress.

I am talking about investment and growthe, not tiddly bits of savings on importing a bar of chocolate. BTW almost all those countries already have trade deals with the EU and therefore the UK. It has bzen estimated that barring wars and shipping problems, the sum of potential extra growth will reach the dizzying heights of 0.08% of UK GDP.

And in future it might be a better use of space and time if you reply to the points made in the post you quote.

The MSN will soon concentrate on Reform and start nit picking, misquoting and digging up the dirt fairly soon. I'm sure Socialist Worker will be busy trying to maintain the state's mainstream parties near election time. "Tice is a Racist" "GB News R Nazis" "Hate!" etc etc.
