Don't you ever give up? No matter how often you are told that people across the political spectrum have a similar opinion of Blair you just post it’s all lies and unfair on the great? man himself. Because I criticise some of what Israel is doing now you call me an anti semite,srb7677 was a long term Labour supporter but because he criticised Blair you called him a left wing extremist,I (sadly) helped vote in the Blair govt,as it happens I think Brown whatever his faults was more principled a man than Blair could ever be. I was just saying that whatever point you’re arguing always results in you calling people liars,you are entitled to your opinion but it’s a bit rich referencing the quality of the forum when you are far from raising it. The problem is that too many people post their OPINION of Blair as if it were the truth, when it should in fact be made clear that it is just their opinion. I only refer to anyone as a liar when they post a lie either to me or about me. If your post is anti-Semitic in any way, then I will refer to you as being anti-Semitic. As a politician to be admired I place Brown and Alistair Darling before Blair. I do think of srb as an extremist, so extreme that he attacks the moderate Left and refuses to vote for moderation. Even so, I modified my comment from 'extremist' to 'hard Left' which I then used in all my posts to him thereafter. If you want to comment I suggest you keep up with the facts. An extremist is a man who wants to play two gun tex with another without a plan for the aftermath,and how did it all turn out for the Middle East peace envoy or more importantly the dead UK service peoples families and the people of that region plus the safety of the UK itself, yep a lot worse . No matter I’ll set up a foundation so all the plebs will love me,other politicians will listen to my wise words and more importantly I’ll remain relevant. Looking at Arab/ME lands from a Westcentric position means that one is always going to do the wrong thing. The understanding of democracy in Arab lands is not at all like the Western concept. If one wins an election all that means is that one gets a chance to lord it over those who used to lord it over you and carry on the tribal and ways that are an accepted part of one who has power. Families and kin rule and corruption and ethnic conflict are part and parcel of the process. Honour plays an important part and also means that projects tend to be agrandisement projects as opposed to being specifically what is needed. |

Ok, the proof of the failure of socialism is that it has failed constantly throughout history, the most recent being that red local governments, Brum and Nottingham have gone bust. The reds have bankrupted governments throughout history, the most notable recently was that oil soaked central american country that went bust, and still is. Tory governments have been voted out leaving heaps of money, then Britain under Labour goes bust.
Labour and money dont mix, they dont understand it, even more damning is that Labour opposes business, its the thing that puts food on the table.
In the grand scheme of things for every force there is an equal and opposite force, Labour are the negative to the positive. The left are a force of nature, not logical and objective, but an irrational lunacy. The left fails at every turn, yet personages like yourself continue to bang its drum, why?
