I've only had one quick look at mumsnet, -- I must have another, -- but it looked like it was a place for nasty comments, not fit for human consumption. I refuse to read the Express, only rambling idiots refer to the Express as a link. Its a shit right-wing paper that is out to mislead. There seems to be quite a few things that you dont read that you still feel qualified to pontificate on... Odd that.. |

Provable facts is a strange concept as one is digesting a 'fact' just in the reporting and how does one verify something reported other than seeking other reports and the two are indeed other reports. I do agree however that there is much misquoting which I find very annoying. I think Jeremy Corbyn was misquoted quite often although when he was not it still raised concerns. The major worry is, and this seems to be rampant on the left, is that misquoting is fair game if it defeats anyone on the RW. |
