I'm A working class guy from a working class background lived in Social housing all my life . Went to a working Class Catholic infant and junior school. Several pupils passed there 11 plus and went to Bury Grammar School Sir kier obviously went the same Route. Why do you keep going on about sir Keir Education back ground.
Are you Jealous and envious of him or something? Because he probably has a more successful career then you . I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of someone who enjoyed the best private education money can buy trying to stop other kids from benefiting from those same advantages. Now that Starmer has made it to the top he is pulling up the ladder that he used to get there. He is a hypocritical twat. There are still some schools that accept students that pass an entry exam. Theresa May got herself well educated by starting her education in a Comprehensive. Comprehensives give more people an opportunity to enjoy higher education, including many of those referred to as late starters. EDIT: Perhaps you have forgotten that Starmer didn't buy it.

The thing with Labour they don't want kids getting a better education, they want to keep all the kids thick, so when they grow up they'll vote Labour.
They are frightened that if kids get the chance of a higher education that when they grow up they'll see through the lies and mismanagement of a Labour government, hence the reason they want Grammar schools closing, I mean you only have to look at the caliber of the Labour front bench Angela Rayner thick as two short planks, Anneliese Dodds FFS, then we have Abacus Abbott who's had top jobs on the front bench including shadow home secretary.

Comprehensive schools are designed to give more 'kids' an opportunity to enter higher education and it is a far better system than the stupid 11+ ever was. F**k in hell, you as a Conservative supporter refer to the "lies and mismanagement of a Labour government,"! You are without doubt an unadulterated political moron, sucked into the depths of Conservative false propaganda. You and your ilk are to a large extent the reason this country has done so badly for so long under Conservative mismanagement. Don't forget to look up 'Objective and Subjective, there -- is a brand new world of truth awaiting you.

Your fellow Labour campaigners on here are claiming, out of the blue with no evidence or any support in reality, that their adversaries are BNP voters. Still, it's a step up from screaming Nazi. It's still too retro, though. Don't any of you have any new material to troll and bait with? I think "Labour campaigners" is an exaggeration, I'm only aware of one. I don't participate in either trolling or baiting. Most of my posts are about clarifying. Since you're here as a Labour campaigner and believe this new member isn't a Labour campaigner, despite his devotion to Labour, then perhaps you should focus your attention where it's more appropriate. If not then I can only stick to my own conclusion that the Labour campaigners on here are liars and trolls.

Since when does a 11yr old make the decision what school to go to? That's surly down to his parents. Or are you talking about Making the decision when the school went private ? I don't know at that time he had any political stance certainly at Such a young age . I bet he never thought he become leader of the labour party. And what is stance would be on private Schools getting the luxury of avoiding paying Coprate tax .

Actually ttl, these days thanks to a lack of places and chronic overcrowding due to the fact we are now apparently a wonderfully diverse and multicultural country, parents often have to relocate to get their kids into decent schools.

Yes I agree with what your saying but don't really think that's anything to do with what I written . Or you just throwing that in the MiX And I know that situation was branded about by certain Newspapers years ago especially before a GE. But don't hear anything about it now. Maybe it will rear it's ugly head agaim Once we're near the Next GE.

Labour ‘absolutely opposes’ any expansion of grammar schools
Bridget Phillipson confirms party would block new selective schools being created,
1. I never said there was. 2. If you do not recognise Conservative false propaganda then you are proving your ability to just accept it. 3. You do not understand that there is more possibility of the "children from poorer working class backgrounds" reaching a higher level of education using the Comprehensive school system. Government. --"Record numbers of students take up university places More than 695,000 A levels and 340,000 vocational and technical qualifications awarded."-- 4. The above is the reason why.

Well that is nonsense - there are more University places available nowdays than there was when we had Grammar Schools so of course there is more opportunity to go..
