Realistically as a Scot looking in so to speak it is a damned disgrace the political, legal and social manipulation that is occurring to dispense with English as an ethnic group. Genocide is disgraceful, but it's basically the approved point of view on these forums. I could say more but I will only be threatened.
Ah how convenient, you aren't allowed to back up that disgusting slur.

No. You've talked about yourself more than enough in this thread, not me. Again you're talking about me and indulging in personal attacks, the debating equivalent of running up the white flag. I haven't made a personal attack. I've made an observation about the way you seem to revolve the topic around you. I've also seen you 'like' disgraceful personal attacks on others posters, so I wouldn't play the moral high ground if I were you.

You seem to love the attention. Well you've got it.

Of course they are not, I think I have said that about ten times so far which is why I have also said for the purposes of this thread English means English ethnicity. So I repeat ad nauseum that in this thread when I say English it means ethnic English, no different if I said Australian meant aborigine. Apart from that why dodge the question above although not directed specifically at you? This thread is about the English people. David Lammy and I are both English. If you don't like it you do still have the mind your own business option. OK who are the English people?

English people are British people who associate themselves most with being English.

English people are British people who associate themselves most with being English. What does 'being English' mean? If a Muslim associates himself most with being Muslim he is then not English?

I'd say people who were born (or moved to England when they were very young) and raised in England who are culturally English. That's nationality, it in no way denies the existence of ethnic English people.

Nationality and religion are two separate things. I know English people of various and no religion, mostly the latter.

Religion is irrelevant. Odd to bring that in you can be an English Muslim just as much as you can be a French Christian

Someone is English if they are British and associates themselves with being English This is not a trick question I am still trying to get a handle on what you mean by that. Is that purely a self identification thing? I am in England, I was born in England and I do English things therefore I am English. If that is what you mean fair enough, is it?
