Not really interested in Sid's polls. Remainers or rejoiners have been hurt by polls before. The only thing that matters are the facts: The UK is no longer a part of the EU. Polls won't change this. But future political decisions by governments heeding polls might. Because the power of polls is not the actual polls themselves but what they tell us - and tell politicians - about public opinion. Because if the polls keep showing decreasing levels of support for Brexit and growing support for Rejoining, the greater this grows, the more likely that some political party or other will curry support by responding to it. The demographics of who voted for what itself makes this likely as the years go by, with Brexit voters concentrated most heavily in old duffers in their twilight years whilst Remain voters were concentrated in younger people with many decades ahead. It does not take a mathematical genius with a degree in statistical analysis to figure out that Brexiteers were going to die out far more rapidly than Remain voters. 7 years after the referendum this is becoming ever more noticeable in polling. So you can bark at the moon as loudly as you like but time is not on your side on this one How nice that you take comfort in "old duffers" dying out to get your own way. Like I said, I don't live in an "alternate reality" I live in the reality that the UK is no longer an EU member and your hopes of people dying to change that reality hasn't happened.

The EU is a self-serving beast that useless career politicians want. Free movement screwed the UK, where the UK was actively being discouraged as an attraction, instead of raising the standards elsewhere in the eurozone. This is probably why so many socialists support it. Everything ends up equally poor and worse off, because that's where socialism thrives. Nonsense as usual. When we rejoin the EU it will be because a majority of the public want us to. Otherwise it wont happen.

What evidence has he posted FFS? Are you blind? He posted the evidence from multiple polls. Do you think he just made that up? If so make the accusation, and risk looking stupid if he posts actual links to the polls themselves. Or else accept his evidence as it stands. Either way, to actually demonstrate that it is bollocks, merely saying it is bollocks in defiance of the evidence presented convinces no one. If you think his polling evidence is bollocks you need to challenge him on it and ask him to provide links to at least some of the polls themselves, or else you need evidence of your own to counter it If ever I am on trial for a crime I did not commit, remind me never to hire you as my legal representative. Because after the prosecution have laid out their case, you standing up and saying "it's all bollocks" without any evidence or logical line of reasoning demonstrating how will just be laughed out of court, lol I am nether blind dumb or stupid the same CANNOT be said for the remainers. How many remainers have you asked if they have changed their stance? You haven't because if you had you would speak with an echo.

I somehow doubt the last few years of politicians playing the game with remain will have helped, as when people voted leave they were pointing out also, the politics as usual just wouldn't do.

The ex remainers will insist on the details of the re join deal published before a vote . Won’t they?

It is not a question of hopes but of demographic reality, and harsh though it may be we all die at some point when we get old. And quite clearly when it was mostly the old voting for Brexit, demography and the passage of time is not on your side. And the polling evidence is increasingly showing that. The longer you or I live - for I am no spring chicken myself - the more likely we are to live to see the reversal of Brexit.

Unlike myself or Sid, you are holding out a prospective future situation without any evidence to support such a contention. Beyond wishful thinking that is

Most of the youth want nothing to do with current politics, so I would take a guess that using them as a backlash has also failed.

Good luck convincing people they need to lose the pound and accept the Euro in order to rejoin, plus paying the Commission 14bn per annum for the dividend of no growth, and all the other little economic and political catchels the EU snares the UK with.

Your reaction appears to demonstrate that it isn't nonsense, but I can understand why it's based on redirection away from the details. Waving banners is so much more fun.

Well all they are getting is politics as usual, so Brexit has appeared to make fuck all difference to that.
