What predetermined conclusion is that? Ahem: The predetermined conclusion is that Boris and his govt were useless and didn't lock down soon enough or long enough. And, of course, Boris spread Covid across the world by going to too many parties. I think the country already knows that, we certainly don't need an enquiry to tell us... And Bingo. Well done.

The evidence coming out from health experts, advisors and scientists is not doing Boris Johnson any good, and as a side effect its also not doing the Tories a favour either.
Interesting that the conspiracy theorists accuse all criticism as coming from "lefty wokists" and completely ignore the fact that probably thousands died or suffered through poor judgement and not listening to science.

And hindsight is always 20/20, Fiddler. The fact remains that we didn't do much better or worse than any other comparable country.

It's cost over £100 million of tax payers money to promote Labour, the whole enquiry is simply to discredit the Tories, they aren't the least bit interested in who, why, what and where Covid started, Labour have just had £100 million of FREE campaigning for the next GE, the tax payers should revolt and demand Labour pay it all back.

I would imagine one or two will be eyeing up their new house on the upper Thames.

The inquiry was ordered by the Conservative government, and rightly so, and after listening to top scientists, government advisors and top health officials, I think we all know where this is heading. It has got nothing what so ever to do with the Labour Party or "lefties", this is all Boris Johnsons own making. But of course those that dont like the reality of it all, come up with their alternative theories, that Mr Chris Whitty, and Mr Patrick Vallance and others, are all Labour Party sponsored plants, designed to discredit the government. Its so ridiculous that its almost funny. But it would be really good if the inquirys findings were published before the general election

It even makes HS2 look on the up.

We have never had a pandemic like Covid in modern times, so how did the government, the so called experts, WHO and the rest of them fuck up.
It wasn't just the UK, it wasn't just the Tories, the whole of the world was clueless, this enquiry should have focused on what went wrong, and what went right, in the event of another pandemic we now have a comparison the next time round.
The whole of this enquiry has just been to slag off the Tories, nothing positive is coming out of it, we didn't ask for a enquiry into the Tories, we asked for a enquiry to learn by mistakes, and be better prepared the next time round, lessons learnt.

This daft enquiry needs shutting down and a real one tasked with learning lessons for the next pandemic needs to be set up. Currently it is an exercise in groupthink that is not teaching us anything except that Boris is an idiot - well I'd rather that £100 Million was not wasted telling us something we already know.

If the governments chief scientific advisor and the governments chief medical advisor recomment certain courses of action to the Prime Minister, and if the Prime Minister ignores that advice, then how can this be blamed on hindsight ?.
If Boris Johnson refuses to accept expert advice, and if the consequences are that more people die or become ill, then who's fault is it. ? ..... let me guess, its "the lefties" to blame.
This has nothing to do with hindsight, its sheer incompetence

Only total twats would want to throw even more of our money away on a fucking enquiry which will result in Jack shit.

WE KNOW.
Tell us what we don't know, how, when, who and where did Covid start?
How can we do things differently and for the best if there is a next time.
Furlough was a waste of tax payers money, most of it was lost to fraud or error.
This is what we want to know for our £100 million, don't you get it?

Well at least you do confirm that you are a fully fledged Boris supporter, the money is all that matters, and peoples lives count for nothing. Its precisely this kind of attitude why the Tories are facing monumental defeat at the general election

Apparently the origin of the pandemic is outside of their remit. Probably because they cannot blame Boris for it..
