Perhaps the deaths have been "boosted" somewhat.

Why does anyone respond to ? There's never a point to debate - all he gives is puerile, schoolyard insults. I like it when you insist on exposing your biased immaturity ^^^ It goes well with most of your posts

I think we should all realise that it's not really an inquiry. It's just a piece of theatre.

When even the columnists in the Guardian think the enquiry is rather pointless you know its not going to achieve anything.
'There is a sense that the hearings are designed to produce evidence for a conclusion that has already been reached.

Say it ain't so!

'There is a sense that the hearings are designed to produce evidence for a conclusion that has already been reached. 99.9% of people survived the virus. The Covid enquiry appears to overstate the severity of the illness, which particularly affected the elderly and people that were already sick. Lockdowns have been lauded when it has clearly been shown they were totally ineffective, only stoking up harms for the future. This should be a search for the truth, using all data and as many opinions as possible.

I seem to remember that politicians (and many others) from all sides called for an enquiry. Why - do you believe we should not have had one?

Of course the inquiry was initiated by the Government, who else would you expect to set it up?. Are you suggesting we should not have had an inquiry or is it just the fact that it was set up by the Government that you have a beef with?

It's the same every year, it doesn't matter how much money you hand them, money isn't going to solve the NHS crisis, not until they get rid of the total incompetence and mass fraud who are running it.

Exactly mate. We could have a health service second to none if the NHS management didn't piss our money up the wall with all this diversity bollocks.

I was in Morrisons the other day and they were selling Scotch eggs which threw my mind back to the time a scotch egg was counted as a meal in a pub during Covid, which protected everyone from the virus. All that utter illogical nonsense was a reason not to vot for the Tories, and we all know Starmer wanted longer harder lockdowns, so can't vote for that economy killer either.
