Because you cited HCA wages first in the post I answered . That’s why 😁 HCAs aren’t apprentices. They are hospital assistants. I may be missing something here, but the first mention of HCA seems to be in one of your posts Yes you are missing something. Your own post. YOU “ Free training (for recognisable qualifications after up to four years) on a crap wage doesn’t even compare to the training offered to military recruits, where it’s highlighted as a reason to sign up…“ This was after I said that HCAs can get free training . So you obviously was claiming that HCAs are on crap wages because I never said it .

Just look at the front headline on the Daily Mirror, the nurses striking because they have to use foodbanks or eat the leftovers from patience, the nurses they are showing are overweight, so they must be using a lot of food banks or scoffing a lot of left overs. www.mirror.co.ukI have noticed that for years. Not only that but some nurses ( and HCAs) seem to be bursting out of their uniforms . The only conclusion is that they gained weight after they got them issued . on the occasions I've been to hospital the staff always seem to be eating, they were running late with appointments are brought out a box of celebrations and were handing them round the waiting room, not been funny but I thought with these Covid rules it was a bit daft, most of us declined the offer.

I cannot understand some people's acceptance that workers should be 'grateful' to be underpaid and overworked. Do is that a yes or no? Do?

Giving sick people a bit of a lift is frowned upon? 🙌

Hmm not very good at biology are you? uh? There are many causes of weight problem and women potentially suffer the most. Pregnancy is one cause of weight gain in women. Water retention is another as are eating disorders. Being overweight can be a debilitating medical problem.

And then we should make sure that workers in the private section get a large pay rise too? For parity? I cannot understand some people's acceptance that workers should be 'grateful' to be underpaid and overworked. So is that a yes or no?

Being overweight can be a debilitating medical problem. There were no overweight people in Belsen. Wow is that the best example you could come up with. Door handle cranium.
