You haven’t got a clue, the blue light card? You think that is a benefit yeah you can get a discount at lovehoney and one of the few worth anything Asda finishes at the end of the year. And many more are now offering this service to our selected workforce, but don't let facts spoil your little rant. So in your little apologist rant. You are not going to tell the great unwashed who are not fascist. The fringe benefits the nurses get. That is what you said. The latest enemy who you are going to hate. Then could you tell me what has Starmer to do with the state of the country and nurses. Who were offered a pay cut by fascist wankers. That you defend.

But of course what these nurses never mention are all their fringe benefits they receive.
More misery for patients as first national pay strike by nurses looms in weeks before Christmas
Planned walkout is expected to cause major disruption across health services The ballot is the first held in Royal College of Nursing's 106-year history Cabinet minister Oliver Dowden admits planned walkout will 'have an impact'
Of course they get fringe benefits, as much water as they can drink. Would you care to point them out. Or is this the next imaginary enemy the little Englander UKIP thinking lying fascist who call themselves a government have invented to hate. I see they have done a bang up job on you. Were you cheering for them around two years ago at 8 pm every Thursday. As you fail to mention they have been issued another pay cut. Who will you blame this time. Calm down, you are becoming overwrought.

The NHS could pay nurses an awful lot more - if it cut down on waste. I see that currently the NHS is asking for another £7 Billion - without mentioning what this was going to be spent on and what improvements we would see for our money. Exactly...They waste millions each year the list is endless on how they waste the money.
NHS wastes £46m on spin doctors, diversity advisors and a third sector environmental sustainability.
I agree but that is not the nurses, they have no control over the mismanagement of the NHS that is fairly placed at the door of the bosses.

Starmer saying all the right things... I wonder if he gets the NHS to treat all those holes in his feet or if he goes private? Of course he goes private he can afford it. There is no moral conflict with a man fighting for an NHS for all and going private himself. We all want the best for ourselves and our family.

Rant? No just pointing out you scrabbling to justify the idea they get fringe benefits that boost their pay then defeat your whole argument by pointing out the parking charges they face. Are you seriously trying to say a blue light card negates living costs like that?Nurse are not paid badly. Is it my fault that some would rather piss their wages against the wall than spend their wages wisely? Mental issues are also covered by NHS care.

So firstly you trumpet blue light card as some great benefit go on to destroy your own argument by pointing out parking charges they have to pay and then resort to some vague inference they waste what they get paid on alcohol.

Mental issues are also covered by NHS care. So why don't you take it then? I don't believe nurses, an intelligent bunch, piss their pay on the wall and don't know how to budget, you do.

Is that the level of debate?
You need mental health treatment.

I have not destroyed my own arguement. They are not badly paid and as I stated on the other NHS thread absenteeism rockets up on Mondays where many of them are suffering hangovers. How many in the private sector can afford to go out on a friday night or over the weekend and report in sick on regularly on a Monday and still keep their jobs?
Edit and BTW they are still paid whilst being absent.
Do you have some concrete evidence the absenteeism of many is down to alcohol abuse or is it something you decided was the cause.

Fully qualified nurses get pretty good wages. There are opportunities to earn more with overtime and/ or bank. Maybe they deserve more but so do many other wage earners .

The fascist in government are doing a bang up job on you. And they are paid badly. That js why they are striking. So who is to blame now.

It must have been all those illegal piss ups he was attending when stating otherwise the sanctimonius arsehole. What has Starmer to do with the Nurses strike. Pissed sober or under the influence of eating pies. Could you explain all those illegal piss ups he attended . You know those nurses who according to you are well paid with benefits., and who piss all their wages against the wall. Everybody is now at piss ups. What was that about sanctimonious arseholes.

They must trim the fat and get rid of diversity and equality trainers and managers of the like; rather than worrying about quotas and white privilege etc. They deserve more than a clap on the doorstep.
