Yep.
"Terrorism is defined in United Kingdom law as the use or threat of action, both in and outside of the United Kingdom, designed to influence any international government organisation or to intimidate the public and for the purpose of advancing a political, religious, racial or ideological cause."
Their actions certainly meet the definition.
1) They are not threatening anyone, they are peacefully sitting in the road and do not struggle when violently dragged away. 2) They are advancing a green ideological cause and it would not matter which government was in power. 3) They are from all religious denominations. 4) They are from all racial backgrounds. 5) They are, with Tory consent, being threatened by the public.
Their actions exactly meet the definition of terrorism: They are threatening to continue breaking the law unless the government accedes to their ideological demands.
As your points 1) and 2) have actually demonstrated (foot shot, much?  )
And the police have failed to deal appropriately hence the public now stepping in to prevent these crimes. As is their right.

Who is terrified of them? "The group demands investment in renewable energy and asks for buildings to have a better thermal insulation (in order to avoid waste of energy). The main reason that idiot doesn't have a future is because she will have a criminal record and no potential employer who reads her online crap will want anything to do with her. And in my book that means she's intentionally made herself unemployed so no benefits so the stupid 'look at me' fuckwit can starve for all I care. Is violence the real answer? Is that not what she is perpetrating against teh rest of us. If saying let her starve is violence then her saying let them sit in their cars and miss medical appointments and not meet a multitude of obligations for six or seven hours is also violence.
