Quite. The French clearly provide them fuck all - which is why they don't want to stay in France. I'd say there's an obvious lesson there. We don't need Rwanda, we just need to stop the handouts. The French take more than we do. The ones that come here do so because they want to. So we stop handouts and? We remove a large incentive.
Come on, Zany - this is basic stuff.

They can't. Its why so many are in semi permanent hotels etc. They are told if they hang out a few years they will get an amnesty and be given a life here. We know the government have done this in the past, but probably wont do it again because it just drives more to come. Yet still the myth continues and more come. Still the conditions they come from are worse than what they get here and unless you are willing to make their lives here as bad as they are at home. That is why I keep suggesting that we move asylum application offshore. Nobody who doesn't deserve asylum gets to come to the promised land. Realistically they should be in detention centres that are not necessarily pleasant places to be. I was thinking more of just offices offering nothing but application and interviews. If you fail then nothing, you go home. While you wait, basic hand outs to keep alive. Processing decisions taking no more than 14 days. If you fail to give sufficient evidence quickly you fail.

And the migrants already here do what? Starve? Turn to crime?

What happens to the ones that fail and do not tell or falsely claim the authorities where they are from ? Where are these centres located ?

The ones that fail etc do whatever they want, they just don't do it in the UK Where is more tricky. But Rwanda seems willing.

You seem to be talking about two different things, I referred in the first instance to how can those who give no information make a claim and I now say if they do not give that information then they should be in detentions centres. And if one interview produces no information then it is the detention centre, probably in Midge infected Scotland.

Then you are breaking international law on the treatment of civilians by locking them up without trial. Locking them up with no release date etc. My method of putting the application centres offshore gets around this. They are free to go, just not in the Uk that signs up to human rights

Most likely disappear and turn to crime. Not if they are in a secure compound.

Most likely disappear and turn to crime. Not if they are in a secure compound. So remove any benefits and lock them up? Presumably until they starve to death?
