Not so sure there is some unwritten rule where a political party is only allowed to serve in power for a maximum , so far the Tories are getting on for 13+ years, if they win the next election that will take them to 18 years, something tells me that is not going to happen, I think the 'hierarchy' who really run the country wont let that happen.
I think the Tories are throwing in the towel now, so we don't become suspicious.
