The World, obviously. With the increasing number of free trade deals in the far east, USA States the EU is swiftly losing its trading importance. Europe will remain a significant trading partner, but we no longer have to have the EU make our laws in order to sell them products. In the same way that we can trade with Florida with out having Florida making our laws. To surrender this to return to UE rule would be insane. This is Cuckoo Land Like every other ridiculous anti-EU post - Why does it make any sense to attempt to trade with places on the other side of the world, as opposed to your neighbours. ? Most global trade is regional, most of Australias trade is within Asia and the Pacific, most of Canada's trade is with the United States, most of Brazil's business is done in South America.
Regional trade is so last Century..

There are today in the world 193 sovereign or semi independent countries excluding Vatican City and The Palestinian Territories.
The EU comprises of 27 of those countries, and accounts for 40% of UK trade
Meanwhile the rest of the world excluding the EU ( 166 countries ) accounts for the remainder of UK trade, 60%.
THANK YOU ... For confirming that our most important trade partner, by a long way is the European Union.
The reason why "the rest of the world" share of trade has risen in recent years has got nothing to do with EU trade shrinking, it is because of Emerging Markets and the incredible rise of developing nations such as China, India, Brazil, Indonesia and others.
The percentage of trade between fully industrialised, developed nations has shrank all across the world, due entirely to fast emerging economies.

The whole point being is that this 'most trade is regional' idea of yours worked a 100 years ago but in the era of the Internet it's as relevant as Whale Oil Lamps.

If trading with your neighbours means having your domestic laws made by them it makes every sense. Anyway, we are trading with our neighbours, we didn't leave with "no deal", we have a trade deal with the EU, what's the problem? By the way, we are subject to many falsehoods on here, not least the majority of people want to re join the EU, these misleading polls are taken from select groups, here is one from the Daily Express to give balance.

View Attachment Wow, who would ever have believed it ? - 90% of Daily Express readers think we should not rejoin the EU. I reckon 90% of Daily Express readers would vote in favour of putting single mothers in workhouses, and flogging the unemployed. Of course the difference between a poll of Daily Express readers and PROPER Opinion Polls, is that the real ones are conducted scientifically by polling organisations who have been sampling the populations opinions for many years.

Is that why they got the result of the referendum wrong?

The incredible fact to derive from that is that even 10% of Express readers think we should rejoin the EU. Thats right up there with with 10 percent of the priesthood supporting Satan, or 10 percent of all communists supporting privatisation.

View Attachment The Daily Express, I binned that piece of political garbage about 50Years ago. I leave it for the misguided and the naive to be impressed by.
