And will anyone care?

I see today that Cameron, having sneaked in by the back door and avoiding being elected, has started his campaign, Britain needs closer ties with the European Union and should work more closely with Brussels on international and defence policy, David Cameron has said. The Foreign Secretary called the bloc “a friend, a neighbour and partner” as he hailed support for Ukraine as an example of cooperation between the Government and Brussels. He is also now telling the Israelis how to run their affairs, “When I met the Israeli president, prime minister and others, I stressed over and over again that they must abide by international humanitarian law, that the number of casualties [is] too high and they have to have that at the top of their minds.”We are being stitched up like kippers with this Government, who are they going to bring in next, Neil Hamilton? Never have so many been fucked over by just a few mate.

How much proof do you need, Sunak/Tories are thorwing the next GE.
Rejoiners will be rejoicing.

Well the Tories are behind closed doors, their voters were warned over two years ago what they were at.

If Brexit had been what it promised to be, there would be no need to take any advantages accrued from the largest single market right on our doorstep. And to do that without rejoining. Any possibility of rejoining the EU will only come about if economic forces make the need to rejoin so obvious that there will be no alternative. There is no chance of it coming about on the whim of a remainer.

People with logic, reason or common sense would automatically conclude that to have close ties with our neighbouring states, including closer co-operation on trade, would be a very good thing, and an advantage to the UK, and our economy.
Like it or not, the EU remains, by a very long way, our most important trading partner, and this is not going to change.
But it's not only trade
We must work closely on many other matters too - the defence industry of the UK and France are now so intertwined that France is now the second most important defence partner after the United States, we have to co-operate on defence, intelligence, security and foreign policy.
What future with the United States ?
The populists of The Republican Party, people such as Trump, are not interested in NATO, and the security of Europe is now way down the list of priorities for these people. THe attention for America is shifting towards The Pacific and China.
Britain cannot stand alone - we have to have pacts and security agreements, we must co-operate with Europe in all matters of defence, and we should go much further.
