Ok so just to make the obvious point Vorderman herself says she broke their rules and needs to choose between obeying their censorship rules and telling the bbc to go do something biological I applaud her choice of telling the BBC to go screw itself. It’s a shame linneker doesnt But aren't these new guidelines that came about in the wake of the Lineker row precisely because there had been so much previous inconsistency with the likes of Alan Sugar expressing political opinions on SM without BBC senior management so much as batting an eyelid? In principle I've got no problem with the BBC sacking Vorderman and/or Lineker for breaking impartially rules so long as they also sack the likes of Sugar as well. I don't think it was a coincidence that Sugar seemed to be in broad political agreement with the BBC chairman. And it's no good Labour coming in and replacing Tory stooges with Labour stooges, the appointment of senior management figures at the BBC should be completely independent from government interference.

A good point. I don’t watch the BBC much and Sugar not at all Has he engaged in rule breaking behaviour since the new rules arrived ? If so then he needs to fall on hus own catchphrase

Because when Gary Linekar made his comments comparing the kind of rhetoric used by the government towards refugees, to the kind of rhetoric used by the Nazi's, the rules were different. The rules have now been changed. Good for Carl Voderman, a highly inteligent lady, who has made it clear that voicing her personal opinions on social media is more important than her job at the BBC. I am quite certain that she would be offered other positions in privately run, commercial radio or TV Don't talk daft, Voderman was a red hot Tory, she worshiped the ground Thatcher walked on, the only reason she's turned against them is because her bezzie mate, Michelle Mone Baroness Bra, was linked to a firm connected to the PPE contracts, Vorderman was jealous that her bezzie mate was a multimillionaire, while poor old Vorderman has to get her tits out, and flash them around to earn a bit of publicity and money, she's fuckin well past her sell-by date FFS. Tits out, where was this please tell
