So you think people should be sacked for expressing an opinion? So what if Mark Rowley said he hated Islam?
It's just an opinion, right?
Yes that is an opinion. Are you saying that there are certain circumstances where an employer has every right to sack someone for expressing an opinion?

Thanks, it was such a mindnumbingly stupid question that I couldn't be bothered with it. I owe you one.
Breaching a contract or BBC imparitality rules with impunity and remaining untouched is wrong. It seems pointless trying to engage at a political level with anyone who doesn't understand such a basic ethical reality.

I am saying that they clearly do sack people for expressing opinions.
I'm not saying that they have any moral right to do so.
But whether they have any legal or contractual right to do so is another matter.
And whether they should have those rights is another matter still.

So you would want Mark Rowley sacked if he said he hated Islam?

So you would want Mark Rowley sacked if he said he hated Islam? If he broke the rules then he'd be sacked. If he didn't break the rules then sacking him should be appealed. You do seem to venture into the irrelevancies a lot.

So you would want Mark Rowley sacked if he said he hated Islam? Nope. So what's the moral difference between sacking Vorderman and hypothetically sacking Rowley for saying he hated Islam?

We've been through this before. If you think someone is using a sock puppet account you report it. You do not accuse them openly as they have no way of proving it one way or another. For the record, Happy Hornet's IP address does not match Steve's or anyone else's. Either get back to the topic or leave the thread. Happy Hornet is not the topic Carol Vorderman is.

Back to the topic or I'll lock the thread. I've deleted all the off topic posts already.

Volderman has never been the same since Trinny and Susannah humiliated her . Since then she has adopted the( quote) “ mums nymphomaniac friend “ character .

Ok so just to make the obvious point
Vorderman herself says she broke their rules and needs to choose between obeying their censorship rules and telling the bbc to go do something biological
I applaud her choice of telling the BBC to go screw itself.
It’s a shame linneker doesnt

Good to see an old rabid Tory finally seeing the light.
Actually I doubt she has changed any of her right wing views and her criticism is specifically about this particular government.
In her own words "they're a lying bunch of greedy, corrupt, destructive, hateful, divisive, gaslighting crooks"
I'm no fan of Vorderman since I saw her appearance on QT some years ago but I have to give her credit for telling the truth about this government.
