The british part of the island of ireland is where the massive sectarian and religous problems are , while the non british part is one of the least religous countires in the world.

The scottish and irish , and our ancestors have been migrating over the straits of moyle for thousands of years without any religous issues.

There was no "sectariansim " in northern ireland between 1600 and 1700 , as the dissenting presbyterians and native irish cathoilcs were both on the same side opposing the crown.
