Trust someone from the Islamo-Left to build a strawman fallacy re the DUP, who aren't in fact religious zealots like those he supports but moreover they're fundamentally unionists. Anti-gay, anti-abortion. Yup, religious zealots. Welcome to Ireland... ..perhaps we should bomb Dublin?

Actually this has done Labour a favour, if such a party was formed that would mean Labour would lose about 4 million Muslim votes, so I suspect Labour would not want this to happen. Why do you believe that all Muslims would suddenly vote for this new party? I doubt that anything like that would. I'd be surprised if they got more than a handful. It seems to work for Khan.

Nope. Your posting history suggests otherwise. Like the way you've waded into this thread deflecting with false equivalences. You are very defensive of Islam and the terror atrocities meted out in its name, whether that be here or in the Hamas thread, or whether falling back on Godwin's law elsewhere. I rest my case m'lud.

I know the anglo tory right have a long history of trying to sell the six counties down the river , but despite the lack of brexit in the north , you arent quite there yet.
Leave Dublin out of it. Its the british city of belfast where the religous problems reside....

IMO it seems more than likely that the 'The Party of Islam' would mainly be aimed at promoting Islam and Islamic control. I find the Idea of an over self indoctrinating religion, which I see as more of a cult than a religion, being given access to promoting itself to the public, to be a threat to normal thinking people. So I am pleased it has been held back. I can see why that would be a concern - Islam is not a particularly peaceful religion after all. Neither is christianity , and possibly most others religions.
Surely the best way of defeating political views of parties you deem minority and extremist is to givve them a platform and debate them , instead of trying to ban them?
Ive long argued the same about extremists like the BNP , and the loonier sections of UKIP. Among others.
See 2 by the way doesnt care about promoting islam . He is merely bothered that starmers new labour will lose even more islamic support , and that his centrists rely on the two party model so the left have no where else to go.

I doubt the gentlemen who have run the curry house where i am a regular and have been for decades would dream if such action because in their own words every time some jihadi john gets on his high horse and shouts his mouth of all they do is piss on our turnover and takings. However, a few years ago - 2016 in fact - radio 4 ran a two part programme on the Deobandis, an extreme sect who spearhead the islamification of britain, taking pleasure in their antics in driving out the kuffar from areas they move their relatives into. It was an interesting programme which ended badly for the BBC apologist for islamic child rapists when his researcher found copies of the illegal publication ‘inspire’ in the mosque along with leaflets urging the congregation to support extremist action and ISIS. Which of course when challenged the imam claimed the BBC had planted I rather suspect THEY would support this bunch from the iff, and probably funded their attempt to register Exactly, but they don't represent a majority of Muslims. From some of the guff that I read on this forum I guess that there's a few on here who don't have any Muslim friends but claim to know what they all think. That's why I despair on here sometimes of the ignorance. My experience of what we now call multi cultural religious interests began all the way back in the seventies when i was (yes, i admit it) a lay preacher icthus badge on a leather bootlace jesus hairstyle and all. I have strummed a guitar below the pulpit i was preaching from but i have never, NEVER banged a tambourine. I have some standards and self respect.
The BIG thing i discovered as an undergraduate was that although the university "chaplaincy" was more than happy to have anyone of any belief system come for a chat, and could find someone of just about any spiritual leaning whatsoever to come and talk to anyone about that, the one thing that was absolutely verboten was on campus religious services. The only exception to this was the Hindu's who were allowed a "Soup Kitchen" but that wasn't quite that, it was a free (veggie) food session for any who wanted it, but the one thing off the menu was religion.
This may sound strange, but the way it worked was anyone like me was more than welcome to wander along and talk to people, but any actual religious services were conducted "in the community". The idea being anyone interested in exploring a religion was encouraged to do so in the wider community where people who had to go to work the next morning went.
I did not fully understand why they did that until my youngest went to university herself and came across the on campus Jesus freaks and the on campus mosque. And i say both were equally as bad.
I'm really not sure some of the more shall we say "fundamenalist" groups are as distant or as numerically few as you suggest. Well round here anyway. There are two main islamic cults, and each have a particular celebration of a time in the middle ages when they fought a singularly bloody war between them, and twice a year (next week and sometine in february / march IIRC) each of them have a bit of a victry parade through the streets
The one lot are no worse than the average CND protest, but the other lot have a re-eactment where they race like men posessed through the streets screaming all sorts. It is supposedly a celebration of when they captured and beheaded a couple of chaps who told their king he was theologially in the wrong.
I came across this celebration a few years back and was quite worried when a hundred ranting islamics ran down the street. Some copper standing by the side of the road had obviously been put there to tell us all there was nothing to worry about, but frankly i saw the looks in their eyes and it was the same as the allah u akbar merchants on london bridge with machetes just before an ARV unit wasted them

Supporting Islamists is inherently anti-Semitic. Shush, TSM! Certain people have now diverted the thread so Islam doesn't hear any hurty words. I've already said an Islam party could be beneficial to democracy. We won't need a Jewish party because they will soon have all left the country because of the intimidation.

Please don't post lies about. Muslims are increasing in numbers year on year, partly apparently because they tend to have large families. It is obvious to me that Islam is an overly self indoctrinating religion, this means that their emotional system/feelings has greater control over their logical thinking than one might expect to be normal. Think about it. The human brain cannot feel anything at all, it recognizes physical feelings like pain that occur outside of the brain and hormonally controlled emotional feelings from learnt emotional experiences.

As a matter of interest I have had a browse of The Christian Party UK's website, and yes, you guessed it, their policies include .... forcing children to attend Christian only assemblis at school as a matter of law, but no legal requirement to teach other faiths. A return to traditional family life, where divorce and gay people are frowned upon, no doubt we would go back to the "traditional" shop and pub opening hours on a Sunday. NOt really very different from what an Islamic Party might suggest, taking us backwards from the libetarian and free society that we all enjoy today. ukchristianparty.org/
