I suspect that the narrative of white privilege and remarks such as “White people love playing 'divide & rule'. We should not play their game."..and supporting her decision to send her son to a private school by saying “I'm a West Indian mum and West Indian mums will go to the wall for their children"? goes down well in her constituency. However to me it smacks of Chauncey Gardner or Forrest Gump type drivel spouted as a poke in the eye to white people. Her slack jaw and ponderous way of speaking suggests a slow wit and her poor arithmetic are a thing of much merriment. I think she is cunning and lucky . The fact that she has achieved a degree indicates that , at the time , she had the ability to absorb a body of information and repeat it back. She supports anything or anyone with a grudge against white people , such as that other beacon of intellect Bernie Grant . The West Indians have their own culture, so you really need to understand that to understand her. I'd say she is pretty representative of the West Indians. They have a certain way of expressing themselves and it is not all matter of fact, like irony, humour and that kind of thing.

The reason given would the right reason, so fair play to her. The West Indians are pretty liberal and don't envy those with more money. They have a live and let live attitude, but along with that they have a moral side to it as well. It's close to our own religion and was no doubt and influence. Also another plus point is she is never aggressive. She can be playful as well. The MPs I can't stand are the liars. I know when someone is shitting me and I get it from so many of the Tories. The West Indians have their own culture, so you really need to understand that to understand her. I'd say she is pretty representative of the West Indians. They have a certain way of expressing themselves and it is not all matter of fact, like irony, humour and that kind of thing.

If you don't bother then they will not bother you, and one other thing is that in a very multicultural area I lived in where my friends were English and one or two scots and Irish, it was the West Indians that were keen to get on with the English. They did not have an us and them attitude like many of our foreigners do. They are polite and you are made to feel welcome. We used to always use their taxi service for this very reason, and at the rank they would have takeaway West Indian food which we really enjoyed. |

Compared to these crazy murdering Muslims, the West Indians are pretty OK. If you don't bother then they will not bother you, and one other thing is that in a very multicultural area I lived in where my friends were English and one or two scots and Irish, it was the West Indians that were keen to get on with the English. They did not have an us and them attitude like many of our foreigners do. They are polite and you are made to feel welcome. We used to always use their taxi service for this very reason, and at the rank they would have takeaway West Indian food which we really enjoyed. Well I won’t argue that some West Indians are good people and can be good friends but many are not. I don’t think it’s a national trait . Even my old workmates from London admitted that in their hometown Jamaica they couldn’t go out at night because they could get mugged or worse. They told me that the the resident Jamaicans could tel, that they were from London and were always trying to sponge off them. What seems to be a common trait between Jamaicans and the horrid white is the hypocrisy of claiming to want an equal society for all and using some excuse to justify sending their kids to private schools . |

We're the bad guys. The way I think about Jamaicans is very simple really. It is a sunny place and like they have a very optimistic attitude. It's the same kind of high spirits in Thailand as well. Sunshine states are like that. A grim moany state would be Birmingham. |
