Interesting video especially with the two gentlemen interviewed. One noted how 'diversity' is weakness and has completely evaporated any notion of 'community'. He said, three old ladies sitting at a bus stop back in the 50's or 60's could just strike up a conversation whilst waiting for a bus, today in London you'd have three old ladies from different ethnic backgrounds who would sit their in silence. London has lost those important little daily interactions that made a community what it is. Today, people have to be force fed and educated that they are part of a community when back then people weren't told they were part of a community because they simply were. Another gent remarked how Maori's preserve their tradition and culture in New Zealand which is no older than cockney; yet there is no desire to preserve a rich, traditional, culture of the cockney in London. The Aboriginals in Australia are proud of their heritage and preserve their traditions and customs, in today's London this is what indigenous Brits are faced with instead:
