No one has. The question is just how much part of our nations history and is it enough to warrant a month of celebration/ study?

If, as sources indicate, black people have been in the British Isles for centuries and have been part of our nation's history why would anyone have a problem with anyone saying so? The intentional genocidal drive to totally change the demographics and culture in this country over the last 20-30 years may play a part. You probably won't find a country in the world that would actually volunteer for such a thing. Of course, this isn't just about black people, but we know the Left only want to hurt this country and will use other people and drum up hate to that end. Did that release enough endorphins for you?

In years to come our children's children wont even know what White British culture stands for, our Identities as a Country are being systematically stripped away, we'll know more about Black culture than we will about our own, because it's being rammed down our throats, it could only happen in this country, and it's all down to the leftie woke snowflakes who hate Britishness.

Even Olusoga admits to an embarrassing gap between Roman Britain and Tudor times so a claim to permanent presence is unsustainable.
Btw I suggest you read the review of his book/telly show at the link provided above before commenting further.

"A plaque honouring the 'first black Briton' has been removed after DNA analysis suggested she was not actually of African origin.
The plaque was placed in an east Sussex village by BBC Two as part of their 2016 Black and British series..."
Whoops!

The desperation of Blacks to be relevant in history is demonstrated by the multi claims that Cleopatra was black.

I'm sure they know by now that every time they make a film, or remake of film and replace the white character with a black character it flops. Little Mermaid Disney remake bombs in China as box office flop 'blamed on racist backlash' The Little Mermaid, starring Halle Bailey as Ariel, has bombed at the Chinese box office with some blaming racism for Disney's flop. www.express.co.uk/entertainment/films/1779376/Little-Mermaid-Disney-remake-box-office-ra

Sorry I don't really see how that answers my question. The Romans do not have a continuous presence in the British Isles but we still studied them when I was at school.

The BBC's bullshit just keeps pouring out. I wonder how much of the people's money they spent on it.
