I'm all for it if we can have a White history month, I mean we wouldn't want anyone to think it's all one sided, and any one particular group of people were being discriminated against .... would we. It seems that our history points to the fact that it has been White history month (/year) for as far back as white history goes. Well shock horror ... to think the UK would dare to have a 'White history' is truly unthinkable, how dare we celebrate white history and our white British culture and heritage ..... what a outrage.

Do we have a yellow history month? Are you suggesting that white people in the UK have not received praise throughout our history over many many years. Face up to the fact that your are just a gob on legs.

'My neck of the woods'! I wouldn't describe Burton upon Trent as 'my' neck of the woods. I don't think I've ever been there, although at 35 or maybe 40 miles away I suppose it could be described as relitively close. I would dearly love to know what huge contribution the African-Caribbean community have made in Burton upon Trent or indeed to East Staffordshire. As I said, this is nothing more than blatant virtue signalling nonsense. Woke types who promote this rubbish are the sort of weak and feeble people who insist the Emperor was finely clothed. Black people helped to defend us against the Nazis, and many helped to rebuild our economy and our infrastructure after the war. So did the whites like the Poles the Norwegions and the Ukrain along with the French freedom fighters and many from other nations too.

The left just play to the crowd, they are always speaking on behalf of people who don't want them to speak for them, the lefty virtue signalling is what they do best, they only create bigger divisions and segregation, and in most cases fuel racism, because it's what they thrive on, its....'us and them'. Yeah, but I'd like to find the origin. The spark that ignited this frenzy. It just seems like it's all designed to cause division, even amongst black people, where it's mostly the Marxists in BLM that insist of these things for their own profiteering. As for the Left, they just need to be the big bully who demands people do this or that to win Lefty support. After all, black people in the Tories are abused by the Left and called names. Are people actually listening to black people or people in general, or are they only listening to themselves? Going by your post I would suggest that you only listen to yourself.

All included and no one left out.

Of course it is ... Just as long as you realize that your post was nonsense. Yes, imagine me thinking that white British people would be 'free' to celebrate our own white British culture and heritage, without being accused of being 'racists'.

It is sadly an indisputable fact that contributions to history by black and Asian people were largely either ignored, or forgotten, they were seen as been not worthy of praise or record. The most classic example of this is The Largest Volunteer Army of The Second World War, who numbered 2.5 million men, and who fought in Burma, India, Malaya ( Malaysia ), Singapore, The Middle East, North Africa and Europe. A total of 20 VC's alone were awarded to Indian soldiers during World War Two, and senior British generals stated at the time, and since, that we could not have won the war without the Indian Army. "After the end of the Second World War, most Britons simply forgot about the contribution made by the Indian Army" www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TU1dQK-j-4&t=31s The Forgotten Volunteers

Black people helped to defend us against the Nazis, and many helped to rebuild our economy and our infrastructure after the war. I believe about a million black people faught in WW2, in the US armed forces. And yes, to a much lesser extent black people were also in the British armed forces during WW2. After the war people from the Caribbean, the so called Windrush generation, came to this country of their own volition because we needed labour and they lived in poverty and wanted to improve their lot, which most of them did. I fail to see why that justifies a 'black history month'. For the vast majority of us remembrance is one day a year. And lets not forget 2½ million Indians from the British Raj who made a far greater contribution during WW2, yet we don't have an Indian history month shoved down our throats every year. Perhaps you think we should.

Apparently it’s about African and Caribbean blacks , not Indians . It’s cos they ain’t black, innit.

I think that I can say without contradiction that Europeans ( including ones that moved out of Europe) have been the most innovative group by far over the last 200 years . We should have a white history month and a parade every year .

LOL - more culture wars from Labour... So what would a "Racial Equality Act" entail? What would count as "structural racial inequalities"? Will there be an enforcement mechanism? If so, what would such an enforcement mechanism look like? What consequences would one face were they found to be practicing "structural racial inequality"? Would such "structural racial inequality" include the white working class? If not, why not? - and why, just a year from the next election, don't Labour have any answers to these questions? I can only assume that Labour really don't want to win the next GE.
