Right well that would be an unanswered question rather than an unsubstantiated claim, you understand the difference yes? In any case I responded to your question with: "Well I'm assuming that's what is covered in black history month." An assumption, not a claim, again you see the difference yes? So you are assuming that black history month would be a series of unsupported claims and at the same time claim that you see no reason not to have it ? The claims that you posted were unsubstantiated. No I'm assuming that the teaching of black history month would address the questions you've asked.

A post where I quoted the DfE and said "seems fair enough to me". How is that an substantiated claim? It’s not . It’s unsubstantiated…hence “So you are assuming that black history month would be a series of unsupported claims and at the same time claim that you see no reason not to have it ?” I asked you to substantiate the several claims in the post that I reposted . Here .. “What contributions have black communities made over the CENTURIES in shaping a dynamic country we have today ? What contributions have black people made to our FREEDOMS , culture and society ? How have black people been an integral part of Britain since Roman times ? You haven’t posted what people who know about the subject know what you don’t know ,at all. You have posted a series of unsupported claims .” So far you have run way from substantiating the unsupported claims and then pretended that you couldn’t find them . How about substantiating them ? I've never claimed to be an expert on black history or the teaching of it. I assume that the questions you've asked are answered in the teaching of black history month. Again that's assume, not claim.

Not if the claims are unsupported and that needs to be determined before . Or you are assuming that black history month may or may not be a series of unsupported claims and at the same time claim that you see no reason not to have it . So far you cannot support the claims that you posted .

In fact you believe a black history month is warranted yet unable to make a case for it

I'll ask for the third time, what harm does anyone think will come from school kids learning about Mary Seacole for example?

Same thing , if you don’t see reason why not then you are agreeing with it . The question was stupid , that’s why I avoided it. School kids learning about Mary Seacole doesn’t take a month . The question was if Black history month was warranted.

It's not the same thing, I don't see any reason why people shouldn't go ice skating if they want to, doesn't mean I'm an advocate for ice skating, I've zero interest in it. Mary Seacole was an example, can you give me an example of black historical figures that you think it will be harmful for school kids to learn about?
