We have always had police officers that are a 'bit' overweight, why is it an issue now? In the day to become a police officer you had to be a certain height, a certain weight, no tattoos, no criminal records including any of your close relatives.
Look at the police force today, we have short arse overweight tattooed criminals and their associated families working as police officers, is it any wonder, we can't tell the criminals from the police.
That's well as it might be but time plays tricks on all of us and for one reason and another our body shapes change. Are you the same as when you were in your early 20s? Should we sack all 'fat' police officers? How about firemen, nurses, politicians?

We'll soon have to reach out to the criminals to protect us from the police FFS. That really is a silly statement and not even worthy of you.

And no that doesn't mean to prance around like demented twats. I am sure the police force have gym instructors to help keep them in shape. And what about doctors and nurses? Does their weight interfere with what they are employed to do? My partner is a nurse and on her smart watch it clearly shows she walks over 20 miles per day per shift. And no she isn't overweight she knows how to remain fit and healthy.

My God, this is certainly Tory desparation
Its almost unbelievable, they have no policies to offer to the British people, nothing to offer us except more of the same, and so instead they resort to Culture Wars.
Well if some IDIOTS seriously believe that opinions on diversity or whether a Transexual should use a female toilet is more important than our fast sinking NHS or the drop in living standards, then theres no hope for this country.

Total bollocks. What drop in living standards FFS? Or do you mean our homeless who have to make do with a shop doorway whilst our uninvited guests are put up in hotels at the cost of 8 million quid per day. And starmer is all set to increase the number of uninvited guests that reach our shores.

Yes if the woke snowflake lefties want more money invested in the NHS then they need to protest about illegal migrants guzzling up 8 million a day of UK tax payers money, if they really cared about the NHS they would be demanding these illegals are deported ASAP....... but they wont because they are double standard hypocrites.

They should, obviously, be helped to trim down and if that is not possible given a job that will exclude him from having to run. I would like to think that a bus company employee that goes blind during their service would be accommodated elsewhere within the company and if not they would be able to claim invalidity benefits and a pension. Comparing a bus company 'employing' a blind person and a police officer that gains weight over time is just plain stupid.

After all we wouldn't want to upset the lefty virtual signallers would we?

Do you not think that the police force has the facilities you speak of?

Probably but there is other work they can do which would not or not likely cause them to run after criminals. Are you saying 'fat' people cannot work?

Comparing a bus company 'employing' a blind person and a police officer that gains weight over time is just plain stupid. Well for starters they should all be given pushbikes, I've lost count of how many police visibly sit in their patrol cars scoffing their faces, you never see a copper walking the streets, they are patrol cars or vans.
What's up with supplying them with pushbikes and if they don't want to do that then give them desk jobs, part of being a police officer is patrolling the streets 'on foot' or pushbike, actually visibly seeing police officers might deter some form of crimes.
