Have you not heard of 'community' policing, where the police get to know and engage with the public? The rest of your comments are stupid and an insult to all the police men and women who have an ounce of sense, prat. community policing, is that the new term for communities policing themselves.
In case you hadn't noticed in recent times people/communities are having to police themselves, because the police are nowhere to be seen or heard, the next step will be vigilantes, because if the police aren't prepared to uphold the law the people will do it for them, surely these dullard police who must live in houses on housing estates themselves don't think nothing like that will happen where they live, it's within their own interests that they apprehend criminals.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS Community policing encourages interactive partnerships between law enforcement agencies, their officers, and the people they serve. By developing connections within the community, police are better informed and empowered to solve public safety problems.

If you need the police to attend a crime mate just report that someone called you a prick on arsebook. There is no shortage of police then. And that adds what exactly?

The police wont even turn up at shops with shoplifting, where staff are being physically threatened with weapons, this isn't shoplifting this is GBH on staff, we are just lawless.

It adds to the fact that there are no shortage of police rr. They would rather attend to the complaints of virtual signallers rather than fight real crime.

If that rocks someone' boat. FFS and how is that going to stop crime rr or uphold the law? Their presence does that and if 'trouble' does break out do you think they will just keep dancing?

I know, that's because we do not have enough. They can only go where they are told.
