Suella Braverman has yet again hit out at police forces across England and Wales as the Home Secretary ramps up pressure on officers to solve crimes rather than dance with drag queens. The Home Secretary warned that chief constables and elected police and crime commissioners should focus on “cutting crime and rebuilding confidence, not playing politics”. However, the president of the Police Superintendents' Association Paul Fotheringham said... ... She [The Home Secretary] talks about the displaying of the progress flag and the wearing of badges. These are deeply personal and passionate matters for our staff and our communities. And this is the problem, the US cult of BLM woke and ESG has infiltrated every vestige of the establishment, not the population just the establishment who are attempting to browbeat the population with their woke bullshit. Weak government and politicians are obviously to blame, woke warriors like Paul Fotheringham are waving the woke flag because no one in authority is stopping them, and this is under a Tory government. Just for a moment, imagine how worse woke will become under a pro EU, pro immigrant, pro BLM Labour government. It's a frightening prospect. www.gbnews.com/news/suella-braverman-police-crimes-drag-queens

Very, very few police officers are dancing with 'drag' queens, this is just another example of the Tories 'playing' to the worst of us.
Do you not think it a 'good' idea if, when on an authorised patrol of an event, the police should be pleasant and encourage good behaviour even if that means joining in a little?

NO police officers should be prancing around with drag queens RR. Or putting on rainbow couloured headgear FFS. Its like they haven't got anything better to do like solve some crimes ..

Is it social policing to hand out cups of tea and biscuits to those who break the law?

Is it social policing to hand out cups of tea and biscuits to those who break the law? Joining in the festivities is one way of keeping the peace, I am sure if the saw something happening they would not ignore it and keep dancing. If handing out cups of tea and biscuits builds relationships, why not.

You would be impressed if the police who turned up did jack about the crime but resorted to do a demented jig instead.

Get a grip you muppet. Police should enforce the law without fear or favour. Picture the scene... ...a gay person makes a complaint about someone, the police turn up in a rainbow car. Two police officers get out of the car sporting rainbow helmets and proudly wearing their rainbow badges. Holding hands they gaily skip towards the complainant, a gay man who's offended because some homophobic bigot mispronouned him/her/it (lol) Who's side do you think the 'rainbow' police are going to take? Social policing my arse, lol. Get in the bin.

I have had to do so but those officers either did not come from policing a social event or did but w2hence they came they were polite, courteous and informed. And no I would not have expected them to do a jig and just because they may have been policing an event they would not have, that is, true to your ridiculousness parr for the course.

The rest of your comments are stupid and an insult to all the police men and women who have an ounce of sense, prat.

In case you hadn't noticed in recent times people/communities are having to police themselves, because the police are nowhere to be seen or heard, the next step will be vigilantes, because if the police aren't prepared to uphold the law the people will do it for them, surely these dullard police who must live in houses on housing estates themselves don't think nothing like that will happen where they live, it's within their own interests that they apprehend criminals.

If you need the police to attend a crime mate just report that someone called you a prick on arsebook. There is no shortage of police then.
