Like every World Class metropolitan city, London has a population of people from all corners of the world, same in New York, same in Paris and Montreal.
There are Jews and descendents of Jews from every nation in Europe, there a Muslims, there are Arabs and Palestinians.
Of course there could be tensions because of what is happening in Israel

I am a democratic socialist and social liberal, views that I can remember being mainstream. I supported Corbyn when he was Labour leader simply because his policy agenda was not hugely different from mine. But my ideals long predated his coming to prominence and will still be there when he has left the political scene. Besides, if you think that supporting Corbyn constitutes being far left, you yourself are showing surprising ignorance. Corbyn is not Stalin, or Lenin, or Mao, or Trotsky, and if you cannot tell the difference between him and them, you are never going to understand what the hard left actually is, nor what it isnt. But it is a common trope of the right to label people like me as extremists, in order to try and discredit us. But honestly, I thought you had more integrity than that. I thought you knew me better than to think of me as some sort of hard anything, or any kind of extremist. I have always debated with you in a reasonable manner. I have not forgotten who you are from another place, and I thought there was a mutual respect between us. Was I wrong? The problem with the UK we carry the world on our shoulders, we have to poke our nose in.
Then for some reason 'everyone' demands the UK do something?
It generally involves tons of money, and loads of refugees, we are basically in the scope of the size a small Island compared to other countries, so why are the smallest shoulders suppose to carry the most weight?
Sorry we can't keep on doing it.
