It's about time these bigger countries stepped up, why do they always expect the UK to take all the worlds refugees, you can see it coming, the UK will be the chosen country for the Gaza refugees.

This is of course not correct. Asylum seekers only become refugees when they are granted permission to stay in a country after applying for asylum. Immigrants are people that intentionally leave their home, no wars or threats involved, to seek to live and work in another country. We have no control over the numbers of people that come here and claim asylum but we do control the numbers of people we grant refugee status. We also have full control on the numbers of people who want to move here to live and work, migrants. Nobody on the left wants 'open borders' this is just a lie generated by the right to attack the left. |

I wonder how long before those of left wing persuasion demand that the UK take in a few scores of thousands of refugees from Gaza. Any time soon, but let it be a wake up call for those illegal ones who have no legitimate reason to be here, they are spoiling it for genuine victims of war. Well at least you accept there are some genuine ones. ORAC wants them all turned back without any process. I don't think you'll find more than a handful of people in the whole country who want to let economic migrants in. |

The murder of a couple who managed to hide their 10 month old twins away to be orphaned. The beheading of babies. The posting of the murder of a granny on her own Facebook account. The shooting of 250+ young people enjoying themselves at a music festival. The stopping of traffic to make people queue up to be shot one by one. So proud. |
