Total bollocks. I bet you don't even know the history of the BLM just like starmer and rayner. There are dozens of organisations called "Black Lives Matter", there is not one single organisation. MOST of the protests and demonstrations are not part of any of them, they simply use the slogan and follow the principles. Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a decentralized political and social movement that seeks to highlight racism, discrimination, and racial inequality experienced by black people, and promote anti-racism. Its primary concerns are incidents of police brutality and racially motivated violence against black people ( Wikipedia ). The original BML were started by 2 coloured women in new orleans after the huge flooding and tornado. They started BLM because it seem that only the more afluent whites were the only ones who got government aid. But of course that was soon taken over by nthe usual political left virtual siggnallers to become the ORGANIZATION that it is today. Maybe if starmer and rayner and you had done a little research none of you would support these arseholes and wouldn't have gone off half cocked.. Like Red stated that picture of starmer on his knees will haunt him until the grave. Just because the thick twat thought he had his finger on the public pulse.

This was just piggy backed off from the US. No context to the UK whatsoever. The UK happily just imports US cultural marxism and people like you lap it up. There is nothing political in having the ability to recognise racism whenever or wherever it lifts its ugly head. There is somerhing tokenistic and desperate when it has to be copied and pasted from the US.

The trouble with the populist Right "Tory Apologists" is that they always attempt to twist the truth and persuade others to believe their alternative versions of reality.
But please do not simply believe what I write here or state, go and research it for yourselves and see how posters like Jonksy & Co get it so wrong.
The organisation which he refers to is called "Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation"
"Black Lives Matter" as we know it today was NOT an organisation, it was merely a slogan, which came about after the killing of an innocent black teenage boy ( Trayvon Martin ) by George Zimmerman in 2012. Zimmerman claimed that he thought Martin was a burglar, and was aquitted by a jury.
Trayvon Martin had been visiting friends in a gated community in SAnford, Florida when Zimmerman became suspicious ( because black people do not live in wealthy areas ), he called the police and challenged Martin, and ended up shooting the innocent teenager dead.
A lady by the name of Alicia Garza wrote on Facebook that she was surprised at "Just how little black lives matter" and thats how the phrase came about.

This stems back to what this topic / thread is really all about, and that is that some posters hate the fact that the Labour leader supports the principles of BLM, that he opposes discrimination and racism. Its not I who has put my foot in it, it is these such posters who look utterly ridiculous and stupid. well you have totally the wrong end of the stick there - I suggest you read the link in the OP again.

Utter Bollocks It happens here too, except thankfuly most of our racist police do not carry guns, because if they did, innocent people would surely have been killed by now. Take for example the instance of black athlete Bianca Williams and her partner Ricardo Dos Santos ( portugese sprinter ) who were stopped by police in 2021 in their POSH CAR, and were then taken from the car, separated from their 3 month old baby, handcuffed and told they were going to search the car for weapons and drugs. THEY WERE STOPPED BECAUSE THEY WERE YOUNG BLACK PEOPLE DRIVING AN EXPENSIVE CAR The Miscounduct Hearing is currently taking place against 5 Met Police officers and a verdict is expected in October, one of the excuses used by the racist officers was that they "thought they could smell cannabis coming from the car" - Oh Yes, from two fucking world class athletes.

Bollocks. You, and many others saw the incident of George Floyd in the US, and thought we'd be good, white people who can shed some guilt in virtuous ways by copying the bending of the knee and preaching our morals to those who aren't as awake. Well done to you and yours for infesting British society with that American race baiting shit. You should be proud of the toxic diversity you bring to British society.

British society has changed for the better, but theres more to do
In the case of Trayvon Martin in Florida, and in the case of Bianca Williams in London, both instances were as a result of people finding it hard to believe that black people could (A) own an expensive car, and (B) live in an expensive / exclusive area, this is racial profiling, and the racist Metropoltan Police officers were wrong to stop that car, they were wrong to cause distress to the mother of a 3 month old baby, and they had no right to handcuff innocent people on the premise that they "must have stolen the car because black people dont own expensive cars".
George Floyd has very little to do with it, we have racist police officers in this country, too many.
But I will state this about George Floyd, regardless of his past record, that police officer murdered him.

You've only stirred up the poison of identity politics by taking the long march with those far removed from contextualised Britain in the US. You're making Britain worse, just look at the fiasco in Peckham the other day, where black protestors came out to the streets talking about 'white supremacy'. Going by their 'calls to action' anyone would think this in 1960's Mississippi. You've made Britain worse and dragged race relations back decades by employing a grievance culture over minorities. You're so 'woke' you've heightened sensitivities and injustices. You activiely seek these out like you're on red alert, constantly portraying the minority as 'victim'. You, through your white guilt have emblazoned victim mentality onto black and other minorities. You feed them to stay down. You feed them to be victim. It's like you need them to be a victim so you feel better about your whiteness. You remove agency and self-determination from these people and have conditioned them to just being your play-victim. It's sad and destructive, and you don't see it.

I think that they want the UK to be a smouldering dystopia riven by identity politics . Just as they want to feminise men and blur sexual borders wherever they occur . They want to destroy society in order to rebuild it in the image that they discussed in the college bar .

The misconduct hearing is still on-going, but please do explain why you believe these two young black people were stopped, detained, handcuffed and questioned by police. ? The conclusion to this hearing has not been reached yet

Not for me to explain, Fiddler.
However, the two previous investigations found no case to answer - which was clearly not the conclusion that the police hating IOPC wanted.
So now they're having a third go at getting the conclusion that they want.
If you can't see the obvious agenda in that then you really shouldn't be commenting.

The inquirys which you refer to were Metropolitan Police Inquiries - need I say any more ? The insatances of racism by the Metropolitan Police are far too many for anyone to simply dismiss, there is a problem.

It's rather ironic that it was a former Director of Public Prosecutions who was most keen on getting on his knees in support of BLM. "over 5 years after BLM protests, property crime arrests fell 12%, reported murders increased 11.5%, which is over 3000 additional homicides & property crime clearance rate fell 8%. These statistics are not only alarming but offer compelling evidence of a substantial decrease in police activity"
Looks very much like failure of the 'displacement function' in action.
The displacement function operates to remove the tendency of victims, their families and supporters to seek retribution against those who offend against them by the state (criminal justice system) punishing offenders on their behalf. When society, or so the theory goes, loses confidence in the criminal justice system, the displacement fails and those offended against take retribution into their own hands and vigilantism, the vendetta and revenge take hold.
I suppose, then, the question is whether sections of society in the USA have good reason to lose confidence in the CJS or whether the problem, if it existed, was wildly exaggerated by BLM organisations and the like.
