They can't touch that, it hurts too much. So they pretend its not there. I'd say you're projecting your hurt feelies over the fact that the people voted leave. It is so bad that it led to Remainism being treated as a mental illness, where nutjobs were running around trying to usurp democracy whilst also trying to convince the people that it was for their own good.
Personally, I'm just laughing over the fact that you all repeat yourself everyday and listen to nobody else other than some random poll that suits the EUphile agenda.

What democracy? Democracy is a free vote. The 2016 referendum would have been overturned if it had been mandatory. See the new thread, where the Swiss court overruled a referendum on the grounds that misinformation and democracy are mutually incompatible. It's time you dropped the democracy bs. You can describe the current situation as karma for a vote denied to you by Major, but you can't describe it as democracy. That appears to be Pacifico's new tack. In fairness to him, it's a more honest approach.

I think you are trying to undermine what the public want by claiming its a mental illness. I think that idea is laughable.

Mental illness has been described differently in different times and places. Essentially, it is behaviour that is a deviation from the norm. Given that your group is in the low 30 percentage range and ours in the 60 plus range, you are the statistical deviation. Seek help.

I think you are trying to undermine what the public want by claiming its a mental illness. I think that idea is laughable. Your thoughts are peculiar. You see the public as the masses, like the Communists do. A collective to manipulate and when this imagined entity doesn't support the despots the despots try and usurp democracy, which was the ultimate insult to those individuals whose democratic voice the despots tried to silence.
It's easy for you to do. You can project your own thoughts into this imagined being you call the public and claim you speak for everyone. The fact that this lunacy is by the exact same people who wanted to usurp democracy is why no sane individual should take it seriously - it's dishonest and hypocritical.
The people wanted a better UK outside of the EU. People like you want the UK to fail. I don't care what reasons you have for that. You could be anyone.
EDIT: anyone like the trolls who rely on deflections and spamming.

Who tried to usurp democracy? It was Johnson, wasn't it? When he tried to shut down Parliament. Talk about projection!!!

We voted out. And are still out. Nobody's denying that. The issue is: does the current situation reflect the wishes of the majority? It doesn't.

It was a distortion of democracy that would have been overturned had the referendum been mandatory (See the recent thread on Swiss referendums). In 2019, a majority voted for pro-referendum parties. In no sense is it democratic. It is the product of lies, misinformation and an inherently undemocratic FPTP voting system. The majority now wishes to rejoin, whether you like that or not.

Nobody's denying that. The issue is: does the current situation reflect the wishes of the majority? It doesn't. Yes it does. 90 plus polls disagree with you. Saying that the only poll that matters agreed with you doesn't hold water when that poll would have been overturned as being unreflective of the free will of the majority given that it was based on misinformation (See the recent thread on Swiss referendums).

And the thread title doesn't directly bear on history, but the current percentage that wishes to rejoin.
