That's because you are not capable of understanding that a floating voter could possibly criticise the government. Well let me educate you, lots of people are going to do it next year. Not that far fetched. I know you criticise the Government - that is all you do.. ..but to try and kid people that you are not partisan takes some chutzpah.. A moderator should not be criticising someone personally. What does it have to do with the subject and why does it matter?

The question is whether Rishi's government is a zombie government, as suggested by Nadine. Ie it is an empty presence that creates negative results. It was not about how Rishi got to be PM or the well known schism in the Tory party. If i have to i will ask it a different way. Has the current Tory party done anything useful, positive and beneficial to the UK or has it been an empty exercise in governance, perhaps even a negative influence. They got Brexit done which has improved pay and working conditions for thousands. They kept millions in employment throughout the pandemic. Both worthy achievements. But... They seem to lack direction going forward, are as woke and eco-obsessed as the opposition and appear hellbent on turning an 80 seat majority into a rout. No brain. No spine. No balls. If only the alternatives weren't even worse.

Me partisan? I've voted for 3 different parties in my last 3 elections. Lazy argument based on misunderstandings totally representative of this forum. LOL - bit rich you complaining about being seen as partisan when your first response to a post about how bad a deal PFI was is some whataboutery with the Tories.. pull the other one.. How many different parties have you voted for?

Well the negative consequences of paying people to sit at home doing nothing are becoming more apparent by the day. So whether you can count that episode as a success is moot.

What does it have to do with the subject and why does it matter? It wasn't a criticism it was a observation, and the mods are every bit as entitled to their free speech as any of us posters.

So should you.

I've made my point on this topic, Sunak is a waste of space, and I think the Tories would rather lose the next General Election so they can allow Labour/Starmer/Blair to get on with their rejoin the EU agenda, there is no other reason the Tories are zombies.

Sure, we can, which Government hasn't been a zombie taking it orders from elsewhere rather than anyone who voted for it?

So if Nadine has thought the Sunak government is a zombie government, why has she not stayed in her role and tried to get something done instead of behaving like a spoiled child?
COULD IT BE because she had a distorted idea of her own value? That bootlicking really doesnt get you into the house of lords and that you really have to have done something useful over a period of time before you qualify?
She sems to me to represent the depths to which government can sink.

So, now we can't then, we just need to attack this zombie government. Jeez.

So, now we can't then, we just need to attack this zombie government. Jeez. The thread is about Nadine. If you dont want to discuss Nadine ans her comment it would be more comprehensible if you linked comments about other governments to this one.
