Hang on, if all the migrants are coming from France, then they can't be crossing the Med. Correct. They cross the English Channel to enter the UK. A Mediterranean entry into the UK is pretty difficult. |

I'm not talking about the UK - people die crossing the Med to get into the EU.Why is this happening if you have safe and legal routes? Not in the context of the posts i took part in. The issue was those crossing the channel because the UK government has no safe and legal routes. Please dont change the subject. I'm not changing the subject. You claimed that the availability of safe and legal routes solves the issue of people illegally arriving in small boats. If that is true then why has it not solved the problem of people illegally arriving in the EU from across the Med in small boats? Is there something exceptionalist about the English Channel? |

The fact that each country is SOVETEIGN abd controls its own migrayion is making harmonisation more difficult. CAN WE PLEASE GET BACK TO THE SUBJECT OF THE THREAD? You as a mod should NOT be allowing this thread to be in spin cycle. Let alone adding to it. |

Orherwise there are no rules.
Is this a forum that allows anyone to say anything, allied or not to the thread subject, or not.
Perhaps it it is time for the 6 mods (?) to decide the rules and support them.
Just what do you want from this forum?
Why have thread titles if it always comes back to the same discussion?
