Maybe you could point out what insult exactly...We all know the usual remnant woke lefty MO when they are put on the spot. Which insults? Could be the one where you describe people as "shit", or the one where you referred to me as "brain dead". Take your choice. You added nothing of political worth. People who go against the democratic right of the majority are shit. And anyone who cannot see what is going on must be braindead. Nice try but no coconut for your attempt at evasion. EDIT you were the one who implied I was naming or insulting you personally BTW..

Listen if we declare a state of national emergency (which we can) we throw out the rule book, just like we did with COVID, and terrorist attacks.
We bring in emergency measures, which will include locking these illegal migrants up in a secure unit until such time they can be authenticated, all these powers we have, but we haven't got a leader or government or a opposition with a backbone to implement them.
Wow, you really have a vivid imagination. Even under the terrorism act, there's a limit on how long you can detain people without charge. You can't lock people up for 2 years while you decide if they are genuine or not. 🙄 It keeps conveniently slipping your mind they are 'illegal criminals' who have aided and abetted criminals in illegal activity, just like if I robbed a bank and you were a customer in the bank and said ...' I'll be your getaway driver if I can have a cut'... in the eyes of the law you didn't rob the bank, but you aided and abetted me to do so, do you think the law will let you off? ... of course not you are would be classed as a criminal yourself, because you aided and abetted someone in a criminal activity ..... get it?

To comfortably accommodate a population of a quarter million we would need an area about the size of Wolverhampton (around 70 km2). A cursory look around the British Isles turns up several islands of suitable size that could be requisitioned, which are close to the mainland and therefore easily provisioned, and to which access to and from could be strictly controlled. The isle of Bute, for example, in the Firth of Clyde would fill the bill.
PS I hadn't realised there were so many options for offshore warehousing of illegal aliens in the UK; there are at least twenty of suitable size and location, and most are very sparsely populated.
Do you really think proposals like this are going to fly in an era where we are deluged with a woke-soaked plight that is innately opposed to the interests of the majority of citizens in Britain? You could well be right, so what then is your preferred solution?

We have a paralysis and soon there will be another election with no hope of any respite from the opposition. People who are not genuine are living it up in four star hotels at our expense whilst families who are made homeless because they can’t afford the rents in the private sector and the alternative was sold off without a reasonable alternative in place sees people born here living in tents. If it wasn’t so tragic it’d be funny that this ever came to pass,we’ve been let down by Westminster for decades on so many fronts. Nobody wants to see extremism bar a few but people are being driven to seek alternatives out of exasperation.

For those who still do not understand it or don't want to understand it, anyone entering the UK unlawfully illegally commits a Criminal Offence, the fact that most are not arrested and prosecuted in immaterial, our Courts could not deal with so many.
This should happen more often
An Egyptian man who posed for selfies as he piloted a “flimsy” inflatable dinghy with 50 migrants on board has been jailed.
Reda Hamoud Abdurabou, 25, took charge of the small boat while trying to cross the English Channel in July 2022.
Abdurabou was sentenced to three years and two months in jail at Salisbury Crown Court on Friday after being found guilty of assisting unlawful immigration to the UK and attempting to enter the country illegally.
He was arrested when he arrived in the UK and his mobile phone was seized.
Bloody Good as soon as he is released his arse should be kicked out of the UK never to return to the UK ever again , I don't care how they do it that is what should happen

More than 800 migrants crossed the English Channel in small boats yesterday, the highest number on a single day so far this year.
Some 872 people crossed on 15 small vessels, according to the latest provisional Government data.
This suggests an average of around 58 people per boat.
The cumulative number of arrivals by small boats in 2023 now stands at a provisional total of 20,973.
The previous high for 2023 was when 756 people made crossings on August 10.
The total for the year so far is still lower than this time last year, when 25,000 people had already made the journey.
Where on earth are we going to put them, on top of those already here? and more waiting to cross before winter sets in

Why Wigan you might ask... a good question for the local MP perhaps..

Yes I was reading that a short while ago, I am sick of the entire process, we have thousands living on our streets or on waiting lists for social housing for years , but alleged asylum seekers get put up in Hotels
