How I wish I was bunked up with a complete stranger in a small cabin in a prison with 500 other guys living miles away from the nearest town in which to spend my £9 per week with nothing whatsoever to do. At least we have four gym machines between the 500 of us..... Try to keep it real, Sheepy. How about if they don't accept the accommodation on offer, we just withdraw their housing? Yes, laughable really, our very own homeless or those wanting permanent accommodation are show maximum of three properties if they refuse all three they are slung back on the waiting list.
These cheeky fuckin hard faced illegal migrants who are 'allegedly' coming from war torn countries, persecution, fear of death, are turning their noses up at perfectly adequate accommodation, that the UK born and bred don't have a choice, take it or leave it.

I wouldn't want anyone saying as a populist I am not a fair man who doesn't believe they should have a choice.

Entering the UK without permission is an offence under section 24 of the 1971 Immigration Act: 24.— Illegal entry and similar offences. ... (B1) A person who— (a) requires leave to enter the United Kingdom under this Act, and (b) knowingly enters the United Kingdom without such leave, commits an offence. (F1) A person who commits an offence under any of subsections (A1) to (E1) is liable— (a) on summary conviction in England and Wales, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding the general limit in a magistrates’ court or a fine (or both); (b) on summary conviction in Scotland, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum (or both); (c) on summary conviction in Northern Ireland, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum (or both); (d) on conviction on indictment— (i) for an offence under subsection (A1), to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or a fine (or both); (ii) for an offence under any of subsections (B1) to (E1), to imprisonment for a term not exceeding four years or a fine (or both). Not sure what point you are answering Dan. Red seems to be arguing that paying a people smuggler to arrive here is a separate crime to just travelling here in a dinghy you bought in a French supermarket. Not convinced it is. I agree that arriving by unconventional means is technically against the law - a bit like speeding. Neither would normally be described as a criminal. Unlike speeding it is accepted that those here to claim asylum have no other choice and hence do not get penalised. Smuggling Goods into the UK to avoid paying Duty on them has been a crime in the UK for hundreds of years, back then you could get hung for it These Alleged Asylum seekers are paying Organised International Crime Syndicates Professional Criminals thousands of pounds to smuggle them into the UK by unlawful means, both parties are breaking the Law within the EU and our Laws in the UK, You are bonkers

Two Kurdish brothers in Syria shared a home. While at work a Turkish bomb destroyed their home and killed their wives and kids. They ran towards Europe.
One brother was picked up by people smugglers. He ended up in Netherlands and hie paid a people smuggler to get him to the UK where a cousin had agreed to help him. He crossed the channel in a small boat.
The other brother evaded the people smugglers and made his own way to Northern France. He managed to “hitch a ride” in the back of a lorry which crossed the channel by ferry.
Has one brother committed more UK offences than the other, Handyman. If so which?

The rather nice pub is of little use to people with a disposable income of £9 per week and an average 15 months to kill. Their income probably won’t stretch to paying the mortgage on those lovely flats either. What do you suggest they do with their time?

According to the latest news only two alleged Asylum Seekers are on board the Barge, the others due to board today have refused to go aboard, what do they want a Suite in the Ritz ? According to the Guardian:
"...The refugee charity Care4Calais said it had stopped 20 people from being forced to board the barge so far, with referrals coming in from hotels by the hour.
“None of the asylum seekers we are supporting have gone to the Bibby Stockholm today as legal representatives have had their transfers cancelled,” Steve Smith, the charity’s CEO, said."
Nice to know who's really running the show.
As I keep saying the whole charity industry needs an overhaul,in France they were living in tents and their places turned over by the cops on a regular basis and then they and this charity carp on it’s not good enough.

It appears it was against the law. Isn’t it about time this government stopped breaking its own laws? After all if it’s OK for the Government to casually break the law, why shouldn’t a poor council estate kid?

I usually ignore him as he is on another planet , he probably is a wind up merchant but not even an amusing one, or he really is that thick and stupid
