Yes well Ofcom seem to think there is cause to investigate. It's about the overall impression the viewer gets and they are pushing it like a lawyer would, taking advantage. Even if they get away with it now, I expect the rules might tighten up.
Regarding style sheets, if you are going to supply additional intelligence to this thread then just do it and stop playing games with what you think I know and so on. Others read this forum and don't like being jerked around.
Besides you make it sound like we are bothered which is worse. They are both shit. The BBC is feminist central. I'm getting lied to from both the left-wing media and the right-wing media and see them both in the same camp, as per cheating liars. That economist GB News has on is suspect as well. He's got an agenda and he does read the news. You see how things bleed into one another. People's brains don't work like computers or lawyer rulebooks. It always used to make me laugh when I think it was in the Lords, an old tradition is if you have two official roles and represent both then by taking two steps in one direction you represent that role and vice versa. As if!
Which economist reads the news on GB news? Ofcom think there is cause to investigate as there is a campaign to shut down GB news and part of that is to complain to Ofcom in an organised manner. Ofcom showed their own incapability of judging their brief by upholding complaints as regards Mark Steyn where what was recognised as being factually correct was not supposed to be broadcast as there was real harm that may ensue. That is a scary take on its brief as 'real harm' has a multitude of interpretations and Steyn believed real harm would ensue if he did not report the facts. Currently the facts are trending evermore to Steyn's viewpoint. This guy, and here is is doing what I would say was reading part of the news.
OK
But this is what worries me.

Liam Halligan is a well respected economist who talks a lot of sense - unlike the BBC's Faisal Islam who definitely is biased. If you want to see hear bias you should listen to the BBC's favourite think tank the Resolution Foundation. If I have one complaint about GB News it's that it gives a platform to too many Lefties - it should leave that to the BBC.

What? He is not reading the news he is commentating on the news no different to any commentator on any of the other channels. Kuensberg commentates, Islam commentates, science editors commentate, Scotland editors commentate, when the reporters ask one of their editors to commentate that is what they do

They have "economics editors" on the BBC News every time a bit of financial news is reported because the normal News blondes can't read numbers ("It's too technical").

BvL, why on earth would that ^ worry you? It's his prescription and his selective truths. He's a politician disguised as an economist.

Don't talk bloody rubbish BvL, you sound like an outraged lefty ffs. The left wing establishment sneer at GB News because the channel is increasingly popular and is unashamedly right of centre, as the BBC is left of centre. Also, GB News have a damned sight more left wing commentators than the BBC have right wing commentators. For instance, Stephen Pound and Gloria De Piero are both ex Labour MP's and both have regular slots on GB News, as does Aaron Bastani who is a vocal critic of the Tories and founder of the left wing media group Novara Media. Left wing millionaire and eco zealot Dale Vince is often interviewed, and GB News regularly have guests from left wing groups such as 'Just Stop Oil' and 'Animal Rebellion'. GB News are far less biased than the BBC that's for sure. I think Baron is using this as a proxy, remember Truss was no public friend of China.

I think Truss is part of the US corruption of our political system, and coming to a GB News near you.
I was not born yesterday. I hear the lies and then ask myself who benefits.
Farage is in on it as well. I mean Johnson cashed in £5m from them, so of course Truss wants the dosh. So does Farage.

Gbnews has clearly criticized the Chinese communist party again. It's all very predictable.
