I cant help noticing that Prince William has launched a plan to end homelessness within five years. He says "homelessness should not exist in a modern and progressive society". Very laudable I'm sure. As I listened to this virtue signalling nonsense, and that is exactly what it is, I thought to myself how on earth can homelessness be addressed when there are hundreds of thousands of illegals crossing the channel who get priority over housing which ensures our own homeless stay on the streets. Asylum costs of £11 billion a year are a disgrace, it's a slap in the face to everyone in this country especially the homeless and those who are struggling with the cost of living. If Prince William is serious about ending homelessness he should focus on stopping illegals crossing the channel. This latest royal initiative should be subtitled 'keeping the royals in the public eye', because that's what it's really about. The Royals are out-of-touch, they live in a bubble world, if Prince William wants to end homelessness him and the Royal family will end up homeless, and the Royals are too woke virtue signalling snowflakes to dare mention illegal migrants, there's only so many houses, and so much land you can use to house non-UK residents, and if Prince William is serious about ending homelessness he needs to come out of his bubble and start addressing the reasons people are homeless, and the reasons even more people will be homeless unless this illegal migrant crisis is sorted once and for all.

But of course it makes the virtual signallers happy and we know they cannot see through this bloody farce and will still carry on pumping out thier childish well rehearsed bullshit.

I agree Jonks, if you dare speak out you're labeled a racist far-right thug, the Royals can't open their mouths for fear of offending the woke snowflakes, this government has gone the same way, the only ones with a voice and who are not afraid to speak out are the loony lefties, they are the only ones with a platform and the only ones not afraid of offending people, and I find the loony lefties extremely offensive, racist, bias and well out of touch with the 'real world'.

We'll soon see how empowered we are when rapes, burglaries, muggings, and murders sky rocket, and no mention of the descriptions of the suspects, because we have to work that one out for ourselves.

We don't want any of them hash If you feel so strong about maybe you should house a few. Watch your area decline then and house prices drop. The NHS would all but collapse without immigrant workers. I do not see how that is the case. About 13.5% of NHS employees are non UK Nationals and yet about one in 6 people in the UK are non UK Nationals which is over 16%. So they are not even providing sufficient numbers to cater for the needs of the Non UK group. It is a basic numbers game that makes no sense. If we removed all non UK nationals, and I am not saying we should, the NHS may have fewer employees but far fewer potential patients. There is also the issue with the likes of diabetes which affects the non UK population to a far greater level and diabetes accounts for about 10% of the NHS budget.

What do think will happen if 13.5% of the NHS staff left the NHS on top of the chronic staff shortages we already have? I am responding to someone that said we don't need any migrants.

I've just skim read the last two pages.
All I saw was... "woke" "snowflake" "tree hugger" "batshit crazy"
And not one person actually mentioned the government's impact assessment that came out today. £170,000 to ship someone to Rwanda. Did I miss something?

Sorry, you're right. I missed a few "virtue signalling" off the list. Apologies.
And please stop the name calling. Makes you look like you're in primary school.

Well it amused me, it doesn't cost £170,000 to send anyone to Rwanda it costs £169,500 in legal costs for assorted hangers on, but hey ho crack on.

Did I miss something? Whats the issue - it was never going to be cheap but all it would need is a 35% reduction in cross channel migrants for the scheme to break even. That sort of reduction should be fairly easy given that nobody is going to pay a trafficker £7000 for a ride in a dangerous small boat to get from France to Rwanda.
