Well the good thing about this is Spain keeps quiet now that their African ports are in the public domain you can blame the UK Left for that. Perhaps we need to remind the Chinese about Tibet in their push to grab the Tibetan underground water sources. Let's recall we never kicked anyone out of the Falklands.

What’s China getting from Argentina ? A foothold in South America perhaps? To be fair it's probably academic, the chances are Starmer will give the Falklands to the Argies anyway. Also don't forget the Falklands have huge reserves of oil in their oceans. EDIT....https://www.fiassociation.com/article/518/falkland_islands__another_oil_discovery_

China can give back Tibet, free the Uyghurs, the Falun Gong and shut the fuck up about the Falklands.
The islanders are not Argies. The Falklands belong to those who live there.
Oh and Argentina can give back Tierra Del Fuego to Chile if they want to do anything about stolen land.

By the way, the title is misleading. This is what was said:
There is no demand in that. No wonder you people are so stupid regarding China affairs. It's constant misreporting.

And you provide a link to the Chinese morning Post... Your source is more laughable than your support of all things Chinese BVL.

Exactly what is wrong with it? That's Jack Ma's newspaper. Its pro China BVL. Do you expect them to state the truth? When they have their own agenda? I do expect the SCMP to tell the truth. It's a good paper and has served well. However that article is not very helpful because it is just a news report. I found this other report on it to compare to. This is probably better because it gives a wider perspective on the issue. Don't be put off by the robot voice. It's likely to have come from a foreign land who can't speak English very well so this is a common thing.

Starmer is on record as saying that the status of The Falkland Islands is a decision for the people who live there. Perhaps someone should point out to the Chinese that the same principal should apply to the people of Taiwan, their status is a matter for them, its called Self Determination.

Perhaps someone should point out to the Chinese that the same principal should apply to the people of Taiwan, their status is a matter for them, its called Self Determination. Starmer may publicly say the future of the Falklands is a decision for the Falkland islanders, but he's not kidding anyone, least of all the Falkland islanders. If the Argies decided to invade the Falklands again, other than whine to the UN there isn't a damned thing the British government could do about it, not a damned thing. In 1982 the army numbered some c140,000 (Regular) troops, and the Falklands was a real struggle, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Today we have c70,000 troops, and I'm told some of them can actually pass a fitness test, as long as they're not shouted at, and the RAF and the Navy have gone the same way. The future of the Falklands is not up to the Falkland Islanders, believe me it's up to the Argies.
