Well Morayloon my British brother, you're forgetting, Scotland already voted multiple times and each time the separatists didn't get anywhere near the amount of votes as unionism has. You lost. Get over it. Soon SNP fascists will be booted out. Next year's election will kill Scottish separatism completely and the devolved parish council in Holyrood will follow. Hold a new referendum, save taxes, abolish devolution. Most Scots are unionist, not SNAT fascists. That can't be right, Vinny. At the census, 2012 I believe it was, a majority of Scots (62%) described themselves as Scottish only, not British. |

In spite of being one short of a majority, the SNP are still the dominant force in Scotland, having won, what is it - eleven elections in a row or something like that? It will be interesting to see how the latest party shake up translates to votes next time. When the SNP loses members, it doesn't necessarily lose them to Unionism, but to other Indy parties like Alba. I think the Unionists and the Nats are pretty close in number. Some unionists may have voted SNP in the hopes of killing Brexit, and some English voters resident in Scotland may have skewed the vote.

That was the last test of the Scottish population. Last year's census results should be out soon. It will be interesting to see by how much Scottish identity has been diluted by immigration from England. The numbers identifying themselves as Scottish clearly outnumber those voting SNP. The aim of the Nationalists should be to get to those people and put the argument that being Scottish should be about Scotland's freedom from the toxic union, Scotland's viability as an Independent state etc |

Your post is obviously inspired by Hitler, but we also have to question what Scottish identity actually is. Sure, people can identify as Scottish, probably because they were born in Scotland, but as to what it actually means is highly questionable.
