I bet you believed sir keir starmer and see 2 when they told you they were going to make brexit work as well.
You can see why politicians are despised , and why those selfsame politicians despise much of the electorate.
A Target is something people aim at, or that people aim for, there is nothing sacrosanct about a target. If circumstances change and a target is deemed to be no longer achievable then the target has to change. If you want to insult me you would need to able to post some reality, not the opinionated nonsense posted above. I don't know who the people are that influence your opinions, but I seriously suggest you seek some better informed people to mix with. |

Almost all real scientists are convinced of the facts that man made global warming is a reality. But certain clowns think they look intelligent by ignoring them and pretending it is all rubbish I wonder if these so called bright young things will have the same opinion after they have discovered they have been blatantly lied too for all those years?And this coming from someone who reads and believes everything he reads in the Daily Mail. A little bit of my own Science and research, bearing in mind that there are still people out there who deny climate change caused by human activity. First of all I found a list of the worlds best known climatologists, and was surprised to discover that there are over 200 leading climatologists from all over the world. Next, I picked upon a few random ones, my first choice was a BRITISH climatologist called Myles Allen, member of The Royal Society, professor at Oxford University, CBE and MA in Physics. He is adament that it is man who is the cause of climate change NEXT: I found an American lady by the name of Betsy Weatherhead ( good eh ), who just happened to have been the climate change advisor to Donald Trump, which immediately made me think "denier" ? But no, Betsy Weatherhead sees climate change as a serious threat primarily caused by human activity. CONCLUSION: Educated and highly qualified Climatologists, respected scientists are almost unanimous - climate change is real, and it is primararily caused by human activity. (Wikipedia) "Climate change denial or global warming denial is dismissal or unwarranted doubt that contradicts the scientific consensus on climate change. Those promoting denial commonly use rhetorical tactics to give the appearance of a scientific controversy where there is none" 95%+ of climatologists agree climate change is man made. Once again a false fact is stated. That is an assessment made by Cook et al in 2013 and is often misquoted. The only actual survey of scientific opinion by the Heartland group found that it was closer to 70% who believed that Man had an important input into the changing climate. The 95% cannot cover all the range of opinion and nuance that exists within the sphere of climate experts. One of the skills defined for a climatologist is critical thinking yet that seems to be a skill much deprecated and denounced when applied to the 'consensus'. |

It's a pity that Zany keeps on repeating figures that are not only wrong but irrelevant. Even if 100% of scientists thought that man was the primary driver of "climate change", that would prove nothing. The bottom line is that the models that are based on the man-made CO2 theory don't work. In science that's all that matters - opinions are irrelevant. The theory doesn't work.
And these "scientists" are running these programs to predict the temperature of the planet for many decades in the future, when they can't even predict what will happen tomorrow. Since the programs are based on the hypothesis of CO2 caused global warming it's fairly obvious that they will predict more warming, as CO2 will continue to rise. But that hypothesis has already been proved wrong. So what they're doing is pointless.

There is a body of opinion that it is, the problem however is that that opinion demands action from everyone else. I do not believe it is specifically man made therefore I am not demanding anything from anyone else |

Heres proof of climate change, occasionally i nod off about 6pm. I awoke a few days ago with a bite on my forefinger, a mosquito bite, the swelling is just now going down. Ive had other less troublesome bites.
I close a bedroom window and spray my bedroom with bug spray before sleeping, i spray around myself if i start to nod off. Went to tescos yesterday, bug spray sold out. Im in Ely, last year i could feel that there would be no rain for months, like now. The east is like spain now.

There's no need for "proof of climate change". We know that the climate has always changed and will continue to do so. But there are two questions that need answering; 1. Is this climate change or just a blip in the weather? Remember that there was a very similar change in the weather in the 1920/30's which is now called the ETCW (Early Twentieth Century Warming) which basically mirrored our current warming. Remember the Dust Bowl. Yet if you look at the graph of the Earth's temperature it has now disappeared. That's the magic of Kalman filtering. Also back in the '70s the scientists were predicting a mini-ice age because of the Sun's cycles. 2. If it actually is climate change - which usually takes centuries to identify - then the question is what has caused it? Is it CO2 or one of the many natural effects that cause much larger changes in temperature, like the Sun or ocean currents. And nobody knows yet. All we know is that a lot of people are using the current situation to try to stop the developed world from using fossil fuels - which will destroy their economies. This didn't happen with the previous "climate change" episodes. I wonder why. |
