Your view is not entirely diss-similar to mine Vinny. What we are seeing is a corrupt clown world. Politicians are crafting 'green policy' entirely around their private financial and political interests. The problem itself is also being massively exaggerated by political interests who want to see the population rounded up into international gulags. Our local fuel station which is BP have a notice stating BP are on your side to its customers. If that isn't blatant BS I'd like to know what is. Well I guess like usual we are meant to miss the point, the point being, is OK, but where is all this energy coming from, which doesn't include pie in sky ideas, it needs to be a reliable and constant source of energy. Or you won't be charging your new save the planet electric car or having any lights or power for what is left of industry. Of course the commodity brokers will have a field day in the meantime. So not like they won't enjoy the confusion, while Syd and his tribe shout about climate change but have no idea what they are going to do about any of it. |

They can't and never could, but like I said, you are beating your head against a brick wall, all they can do is repeat what they are told. They don't have a mind of their own. Almost all real scientists are convinced of the facts that man made global warming is a reality. But certain clowns think they look intelligent by ignoring them and pretending it is all rubbish I wonder if these so called bright young things will have the same opinion after they have discovered they have been blatantly lied too for all those years? It's quite a statement for SRB to make. It was something Thatcher pointed when she asked "what are you thinking" as opposed to feeling.
She was a rare PM that was set apart from most others because of her background in science, unlike the lawyer lying trash we see today.

AGW may be a reality for many but it is to what level that it exists is unknown. Most scientists/commentators that I glean my information from do not think it is all rubbish. What they question are the conclusions reached on the data provided by all those 'real' scientists you put so much store in. Too often what the 'real' scientists have said will happen has turned out to be not what has happened. It is the tragedy that the debate has been polarised and too often that is from the AGW emergency proponents who are quite loose in their derogatory language as regards those who question their position. |

A little bit of my own Science and research, bearing in mind that there are still people out there who deny climate change caused by human activity. First of all I found a list of the worlds best known climatologists, and was surprised to discover that there are over 200 leading climatologists from all over the world. Next, I picked upon a few random ones, my first choice was a BRITISH climatologist called Myles Allen, member of The Royal Society, professor at Oxford University, CBE and MA in Physics. He is adament that it is man who is the cause of climate change NEXT: I found an American lady by the name of Betsy Weatherhead ( good eh ), who just happened to have been the climate change advisor to Donald Trump, which immediately made me think "denier" ? But no, Betsy Weatherhead sees climate change as a serious threat primarily caused by human activity. CONCLUSION: Educated and highly qualified Climatologists, respected scientists are almost unanimous - climate change is real, and it is primararily caused by human activity. (Wikipedia) "Climate change denial or global warming denial is dismissal or unwarranted doubt that contradicts the scientific consensus on climate change. Those promoting denial commonly use rhetorical tactics to give the appearance of a scientific controversy where there is none" Most of the alarm and concern was based however on Mann's hockey stick graph. This graph has had many questions around it for years that have never been satisfactorily answered and in fact it has been effectively debunked as it was based primarily on tree ring data which is in no way directly related to temperature as many other factors have an effect. Science is the process of evaluating information and creating a hypothesis which all further testing and observations should confirm. Too often on the warming front the further information runs counter to the warmist's hypothesis. This tends to make warmists appear to be akin to cultists who follow a belief irrespective of the growing body of contradictory information. |

Indeed. Projections by scientists become dogma in the hands of many eco worriers . Not least the face of net zero and the ones who glue themselves to the road .
