A target is usually a date you set in the future for enacting policy. By dumping those targets , you effectively make the policy meaningless in terms of it ever being implemented .Do you get me Bentley?

A little bit of my own Science and research, bearing in mind that there are still people out there who deny climate change caused by human activity.
First of all I found a list of the worlds best known climatologists, and was surprised to discover that there are over 200 leading climatologists from all over the world.
Next, I picked upon a few random ones, my first choice was a BRITISH climatologist called Myles Allen, member of The Royal Society, professor at Oxford University, CBE and MA in Physics.
He is adament that it is man who is the cause of climate change
NEXT: I found an American lady by the name of Betsy Weatherhead ( good eh ), who just happened to have been the climate change advisor to Donald Trump, which immediately made me think "denier" ?
But no, Betsy Weatherhead sees climate change as a serious threat primarily caused by human activity.
CONCLUSION: Educated and highly qualified Climatologists, respected scientists are almost unanimous - climate change is real, and it is primararily caused by human activity.

Had cameron known how gullible you were , he could have offered you an in out european referendum , got your vote , and then kicked the target date for implementing the referendum down the road to some obscure date in the future and carried on dangling the carrot forevermore if the tories had known how easily pleased your political sensibilites are. |

Climate change is real.
Problem is, instead of actual practical solutions like planting trees, politicians around the world resorted to tactic #1, tax.
And all that did was push up living costs.
Reforestation, clean electricity, hydrogen production.
These are policies which needed putting into action 30 years ago.

What we are seeing is a corrupt clown world. Politicians are crafting 'green policy' entirely around their private financial and political interests.
The problem itself is also being massively exaggerated by political interests who want to see the population rounded up into international gulags.
